Section 1. That before any person, fi~, company or corporation shall hereafte
~ngage in ~he business of installing wires f~r the purpose of conveying electric
a~ren~ ~o engage in the business of installing electric appliances or machinery for
culinary or any o~her purpose within ~he corporate limits of the City of Bre~er~on
w!~hout first having applie~ for and obtained from the Ci~y Clerk of the City of
Bremerton a license permitting the same and pay to said City Clerk an ~nual license
fee of ~15.00.
Section 2. BeTore ~y such license shall be issued to any person, firm, compan:
or corporation, such person, firm, company or corporation shall first h~ve complied
wi~h the provisions of Chapter BO& of the 1919 Session Laws of the State of Washing-
~on ~d before receiving any such license from ~he City of Bremer~on shall ~ve
valid ~nd subsisting s~ate license issued ~der the provisons of said Chapter
of ~he Session Laws of ~he Sta~e of Washington aforesaid.
Section $. I~ shall be ~he du~y of the Building Inspector ~o see tha~ this
ordinance is enforced and in the execution of his duty shall ref~e wiring permits
~der ~he electrical code of the Ci~y of Bremer$on applied for by any person, fi~,
eempa~ or corporation, not having a license as in ~his ordinance provided.
Section ~. The violation of or failure ~o comply with this ordin~ce shall be
deemed ~o be a misdemeanor and shall be p~ished by fine of no~ ~o exceed $100 or
~priso~en~ in ~he city jail no~ to exceed Z0 days or by both such fine and impriso~
