purpose of regulation and reeenue and providing penalties for the violation thereof
and amending Sections i and 2 of Ordinance ~85 of said City of Bremerton.
THE CITY C@~ISSI01~ERS 0~ THE CITY 0~ BREMERTON DO ORDAIN AS POLLOWS:
1, 'That Section i of Ordinance ~385 entitled "An Ordinance to License peddlers
and hawkers in the City of Bremerton, for t.he purpose of regulation and
revenue and providing penalties for the violation of any of the provisions
thereof", be and it hereby is amended so as to read as follows:
Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any person to hawk or peddle any article
or thing in the City of Bre~erton without first taking out or procuring a license
so to do, which said license shall be known a.S a "Peddler's License", or "Hawker's
License", and shall specify the articles authorized to be peddled or hawked ~mder
said license; provided, however, that no person shall be required to take out a
peddler's license or pay a fee for peddling, magazines, milk., pe. riodicals, books or
newsgapers, nor agricultural or farm products' or edibles, raised ca. ught, produced
or manufactured by such i~erson.
Tha~ Section 2 of said Ordinance be ~mended so as 2o read as follows:
Section 2. The fee for a Peddler!s License shall be five ~$5.00) Dollars per
day or ~ifty ~50.00) Dollars per month.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty days after
its pass~ge, approval and publication, as provided by .law.
PASSED by the City Cormnissioners of the City of Bremerton and approved by the
Eayor and attested hy the ~ity Clerk in authentication of such pa, ssage, this 14th
day of January, 1925.
