~2~ 0tiDINANOE approving the assessment roll for local improvement District
i~o. 107, under Ordinance i1o. ~22, providin~ for the imorovemen~ of Sixth
51reet [approximately thirty-six (56) feet in width) from the east margin of
~hester Avenue to the west. margin of Pacific Avenue ; Sixth S~reet (approx-
imately twenty-s~ (26) feet to thirty [ZO) feet in width) from the East man-
gin of Pacific ~venue to the eas~ margin of ,;/ashington Avenue, by clearing,
grubbing, grading, adjusting, constructing and lowering water mains and
connections theretom the construction, alteration, or lo?~,er~ng main and
lateral sewers, ~roviding for drainage, and constructing curbs and gutters,
and by paving wi~h a one course concrete pavement, (and ~he laying of new
water mains ~?here found to be neeessary),together with any and all other' work
necessary to finish the job in a~good and wor~anlike manner, and to do such
o~her and further work in cSnnection therewith as is necessary to make such
improvement a complete Job, and levying and assessing the amo~ thereof against
the parcels and lots of land and parts thereof, between the termini and withia
the boundaNy of said street and other .proper~y as shown on said assessmen~
roll; and providing for the collection thereof and fixing a date for the
issuance of the bonds in ~payment thereof,

Section 1. Tha~ the assessment roll of Local Improvement Distric~
No. 10~, u~der Ordinance No. 8S~, for the i:uprovement of Sixth Street
(approximately t. hirty-six (Z6) feet in width) from the east margin of Chester~
Avenue to ~he west mares'in of Pacific Avenue; Si~<th S~reet {a[~proxi~stely
~wen~y-Six ~26) feet to thirty feet in width) from the east margin of Pacific'
Avenue to ~he eas~ ~uargin of Washington ~venue, by clearing, grubbing, gradin, ,
adjusting, constructing and lowering water mains and connections thereto, the c
construction, alteration, or lowering main and lateral sewers, ~roviding for
drainage, and constructing curbs and gutters, and by paving wi~h a one course
concrete ps'.~e~en~, (and the laying of new wa~;er mains where fo~d to be
necessary), together with any and all o~her work necessary to finish
in a~ good and workmanlike manner, and to do such other and further work in
connection ~herewi~h as is necessary to me~'ke such improvement a complete job,
all in accordance with ~he p~.ans and specifications prepared by the City
Engineer of the Oi~y of Bremerton, on file in the office of ~he City Clerk,
as provided by ordinance 8~, be, and the same is, hereby approved.
Section E. That each parcel and lot of land and par~ thereof named
in said assessment roll is especially benefited by said improvement and that
there be and i~ereby is assessed against each parcel and lot ef land and part
~hereof and other proper~y contained in said improvemen~ district, as shown
in said roll, the res2ective amounts in said roll,
Section ~. That for the pnrpose of said impro,~emsnt ~here is herebj
created and established a s~ecial fund to be known and called "Local Im~rove-
men~ F~d, District No. 107." Bomds shall be issued in serial numbers from
i ~o ~O&, both inclusive, or so many thereof, as may be mecessary to provide
for the ~collected ~ortion of said special assessment due of owing in said
district, on the date of the issuance of said bonds; said bonds to be ins
sm~s of T~;0 HUNDRED (~200.00) DOL.~,=~{S each, exce ~t the first, which shall be
for such fractional !~ar~ of T?IO H~F~DLiED (~00,00) D~LLARS as may be then
remaining due and ~paid.
Section ~. That ~he E7 day of · Pebruary A. D, 19E6, is
hereby fixed for the issuance and sale oY'th~ bonds to be issued on accoun~
of said lmproveme~s.
Sec$ion 5. This Ordinance shall 'be in full force and effect from and
after i~s passage, a~proval, and publication as provided by law,
