National Flag 0on~ence, Washington, June 14-15, 1923, as revised and endorsed
a~ the second international ~lag Con~ence, May 15, 1924, a~d providing
penalties for ~he violation of any of the provisions of said code.
BE IT 0RD~I~,~ BY T~ CITY CO~,~ISSION O~ THE CI~ 09 BR~RTON,
W~HINGTON.
Section l; That the "21ag Code" adopted by the National ~lag conference
Washing~on,J~e 14-15. 1923, as revised and endorsed at the second ~lag
0onf~m~ce~ Nay 15, 1924, be and ~he same i~ hereby adopted and endorsed.
Section 2; ~y person, or corporation violating an~ o~ the provisions
or ~erms of said code shall Upon conviction thereof be punished'for the
first[offence by a fine of no~ ~o exceed five (~.00~ dollars, ~r by impris-
o~en~ in the Ci~y Jail for five d~$s, or b~h by a fine no~ excee~'~wen~y-
five ($25.00) Dollars, or by impriso~en~ in the Oi~y Jail for ~hirty days,
or both, for each additional offehce.
Section 3; This ordinance shall be in f~ll force and effec~ ~hir~y
days after i~s passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
PASSED BY T~: OITY CO~R~KISSION O~ THE OI~ O~ BR~RTON and approved
by the Mayo~ a~d attested by the city Clerk in authentication of such passage
