AN ORDINANCE approving,~assessment roll of Local Improvement Dis~rict
No.ll2 under ordinance No.842, providing for the improvement of McKenzie
Avenue (approximately 50 feet in width) from the center of ninth Street to
the center of Bay View Street, by claearing, grading, adjust~ng water mains
ah~re~nnections thereto, constructing, altering or lowering main and lateral
sewers, providing for drainage, and coastructing sidewalks ( 5 feet in width)
together with any and all other work necessary to finish the Job in a good and
workmanlike manner, and to do such other and further work in connection
therewith as is necessary to make such improvement a complete Job, and
levying and assessing the amount thereof, against the parcels and lots of
land and parts thereo~, between the termini and within the boundary of said
streets and other property ms shown on said assessment roll; and providing
for the collection thereof and fixing a date for the issuance of bonds in
payment thereof.
~THEREAS, notice of the filing of said assessment roll and of the
hearing thereo~ was given in the manner and for the time required by law;
and, whereas, as provided in said notice, said assessment roll came on
regularly to be heard on the 3rd, day of November, 1926, and whereas, at
such hearing the City Commission of said City took said assessment roll
under advisement, and continued the hearing thereof until the 10th. day
of November, 1926, at the hour of l0 A.M., and whereas, no protests, either
oral of in writing were made or filed against said assessment ross or against
any part thereof, and said Commission having f~lly considered said assassment
ro~l and now being fully advised in the premises;

Section l; Tha~ the assessment roll of Local Improvement District
Nc.ll2, for the improvement of McKenzie Avenue (approximately 50 feet in
Width) from the center of Ninth Street to the center of Bay View Street,
by clearing, grading, grubbing, adjusting water mains and connections thereto,
constructing, altering or lowering main and lateral sewers, providing for
drainage and constructing concrete si'dewalks (5 feet in width)

,together with any and all other work necessaNy to finish the job in a ~
good and workmanlike manner, and to do such other and further work in
connection therewith as is necessary to make such improvement a complete
Job, all in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by the City
Engineer of the City of Bremerton, and on file in the office of the City
Clerk as provided by Ordinance 842, be and the same is, hereby approved.
Section 2; That each parcel and lot of land and part thereof named
in said assessment roll is especially benefited by said improvement and that
there be and hereby is assessed against each parcel and lot of land and
part thereof and other property contained in said improvement district,
as shown in said roll, the respective mmounts in said roll.
Section 5; That for the purpose of payment of Said improvement
there id hereby created and established a special fund to be known
and called, "Local Improvement Pund, District No.ll2" Bonds shall be issued
in serial numbers from I to 76, both inclusive, or so many thereof, as may
be necessary to provide for the uncollected portion of said special
assessment due or owing in said district, on the date of the issuance of
said bonds: said bon~s to be in sums of Two hundred (200.00) dollars each,
except the first which shall be for such fractional part of two hundred
($200.00) Dollars as may be then remaining duc and unpaid.
Section 4; That the 2nd. day of January, A.D. 1925, is hereby fixed
for the issuance and sale of the bonds to be issued on account o~ said
improvements.
Section 5; This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
Passed by the City Con~ission and approved by me, this 10th. day
of November, A.D. 1926.
