by clearing,grubbing,grading, adjusting water mains and connections
thsreto, constructing, altering ~nd lowering main and lateral sewers.
providing for drainage, and comstructing curbs and gutters, and by
paveing with a one-cosrse concrete pavemen~l and the laying and ~stalling
of new water mains and fire hydrants where found to be necessary) together
with any and all other w~rk necessary ~o finish the Job in a good and
workmanlike manner, and to d~ such other and further work in connection there
with as is necessary to make such impecvemen~ a complete Job, and levying
and msesssing the amount thereo~ against the parcels and l~s of land end
par~s thereof, betweent t~e termini and within the boundary of said s~reets
and other property as shown on s~id mssessment roll; and providing for
the collection thereof and foxi~ng a date for the issuance of the bonds
in payment thereof.
WHEREAS. Notice of the filing of the s~id assessment roll and' of
the hearing thereof was given in the manner and for the time re~:uired
by law; and, Whereas, as provided in said notice, said assessment roll
came on regularily to be heard on the BOth. day of October, 19E6, and
whereas, at such hearing the City Commissioners of the City of Bremerton

BRE~RTON;
Section l; That the assessment roll for Local Improvement District
No.lll for the improvement of Warren Ave,(approximately Z6 feet in width)
from the center line of ~ourth St. to the South margin of Evelyn St.:
Seventh St (approximately 56 feet in width) from the West margin of Warren
~venue to the center line of Park ~venue; Eighth St.(approximately 56 feet
in width) from ~he ~est margin of ~arren ave. to the center line of Park
Avenue, by clearing,grubbing,grading, adjusting water mains and connections
~here~o, constructing, altering and lowering main and lateral sewers,
providing for drainage, and constructing curbs and gutters, and by paveing
with a one-course cinorete pavement( an~.~he laying and installing of new
water mains and fire hydrants where fo{inS to be necessary) together wi~h
any and all other work necessary to' finish the Job in a good and workman-
like manner, and to du~such other and further work in connection therewith
as is necessary to make such improvement a'complete Job, all in accordance
with plans and specifications prepared by th8 City Engineer of the City of
Bremerton, and on file in ~he office of the City dlerk, as provided by
Ordinance 850, be, and the same is, hereby approved.
SectionE: that 'each parcel and lot of land and part thereof named
in said assessmen~ roll is especially benefite~ by said improvemen~ and that
there be and hereby is assessed against each p~rcel and lot of land and part
~hereof and other property contained is said improvement district, as shown
in said roll, the respective amounts in said roll.
Seot~on 5; That for the purpose of payment of ~aid improvement there
is hereby created and established a special fund to be known and called
~Local Imporvement ~und, District No.lll" Bonds shall be issued in serial
numbers from I to ~80, both inclusive, or so many thereof, as may be necessary
~o provide for the uncollected portion of said special assessment due or
~wing in said district, on the date of ~he issuance of said bomds, said
'bonds to be in sums of two hundred dollars,~(~O0.00) each, except the first
which shall be for sich fractional part ct two hundred dollars I$ ~00.00)
as may be the remaining due and unpaid.
Section 4; That ~he 10th. day of December, ~.D. 19~6. is hereby
d for ~he issuance and sale of the bonds to ~be issued on account of
said improvements.

Section 5;This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
