Sect~0n ~: That t~e said cost and expense of s~id improvement shall be assessed to and sgains~ said propert~ included in such improvemenb disbrict in proporbion bo area and in accordance with the provisions of section two (~) 0hap~ one hundre~ and sixty eight (168) of the session laws of the State of ~ashington for 1915 and as may be amemded thereafter (Exce~ the cost and expense of new water mains, where foun$ necessary, which shall be assessed to the general fund). ~Sec~ion 5: Bomds bearing interest at the rate of seven (7%) per cent, per annum payable on or before ten years from dabe of issuance shall be issued in paymen~ of the cost and expense of said improvement, which bonds shall b~ redeemed by th~ ~ollection of special assessmen~ ~o be levied and assessed upon the ~a~d proprr~y in said district, (Excep~ such portion thereof for the cost and expense of new water mains, where found to be necessary, which ahal~ be assessed aga~ns~ the general funds of said City, and which may be paid in eight equal annual installments, the same as other assessments levied againsb the ~istriet) payable in eight equal installments with interest at the rate of seven per cent per annum, under the mdde of pa~nent as defined by law and the ordinances of the ~ity of Bremerbon, bhese bomds shall be delivered to the contractor in redemption of warrants on the local improvement disbrict fund, and for the cost of such new wa~er mains as may be found to be necessary, on the estimate of the City Eng-ineer, or ~he City of Bremerton may, at ihs election, sell said bonds and make such redemptions in cash. 0RDIN~OE N0.839 (0ontinued) Section 6: This Ordinance shall be in full fore% and effec~ from and after i~s passage and publication as provided bY law, Passe~ by the 0try Commission, signed by the mayor, and a~ested by the 0i~y'01erk in authentication of such passage, ~his E6~h, day of Eay, A.D. 19~6o Mayor Attest: ./ 0[tY Olerk ~iled for p~lic inspection May 19, 1926 0RDIN.mOE NO, 840 (3~.~ ~'D~ Jv~
