HomeMy WebLinkAbout0861 ORDINANCE N0.861 AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of that certain alley in Block 16 of the original plat of the Townii~now!~ity) of Bremer~on, Washington, from the West margin of Pacific Avenue to the East margin of Park Avenue ,(approximately 14 feet in width) by clearing, grubbing,grading,providing for drainage, and by paving with a one course concrete pavement, together with any and all other work necessary to finish the job in a good and workmanlike manner, and to do such other and further work in connection therewith as is necessary to make such improve~ent a complete job. all in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by ~he City Engineer and on file in his office and in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Bremerton, Washington, and all in accordance with a resolution passed by th~ City Commission of the City of Bremerton, Washington, on the SEnd. day of June, 19E?, and creating Local Improvement District No. ll4, and providing for the assessment of ~ ~he property in said district and for the paymen~ thereof, and providing for the pa~nent of the cost of said improvement to be made by special assessments ~/$~! in said distric~ ( except such portion thereof as may be charged to said c~), and payable by mode of payment by bonds. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY C0iL£ISSION 0P THE CITY 0~ BR~{ERTON: Section l; T~at that certain alley located in block 16 of the original plat of ~he Town (now City) of Bremerton. ~ash~ngton, f~om the West margin of pacific Avenue to the East margin of Park Avenue ( approximately l~ feet in 'width), be improved by clearing, grubbing, grading, providing for drainage, and by paving with a one course concrete pavement, togetl~er with any and all other work necessary ~o finish the job in a good and workmanlike manner, and ~o du such other and further ~7ork in oo~nection therewith as is necessary to make such improvement a complete job, and all in accordance ~ith the resolution passed by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton~on~{he SEnd. day of June, 19E~. Section £; That the entire cost and expense of said improvement, including all necessary and incidental expense, shall be borne by and assessed against the property included in ~he assessment district hereinafter created, in accordance with law, (except such portion ~hereof ss may be charged to said City), Section 3; that there is hereb2f established a. nd craated, a Local Improvement District to be called !~LOC~kL I~LPROVE~,~NT DISTRICT N0~14", ~he boundaries of which district are hereby specified ~nd described as follows; Block 16 of the original plat of the Town (now City) of Bremerton, Washington: ORDINANCE N0.861 [continued) ~aid local L:ipro~ement district including real estate located and situated in^Block 18, the outer boundary lines of said Block 18 being tile outer boundary lines of said district.
