AN ORDIN"'~NCE consolidating Ivy Green Cemetery belonging to the City of Bre nar~en~':
~nd Oharleston Cemetery heretofore belonging to the City of Charleston before its onsoli-
dm~ion with the City of Bremerton, and also now belonging to the City of Bremerton and ,
providing that the~Ordinances,rules and regulations heretofore adopted by the City of
Bremerton in the governing of s~id Ivy Green Cemetez'y be adopted as the Ordinances rules
and regulations governing such consolidated cemetery,and providingthat the name of such
consolidated cemetery be Ivy Green Cemetery.
~HEREAS,~he City of Charleston and the City of Bremerton are now cons, lidated
under the name of the City of Bremerton.~shington,a municipal corpora~ionof the 2zd class
of the State of ~ashington; and
;'fHERE~$, before such consolidation the City of Bremerton owned a ceme ery
known as Ivy Green cemetery and the City of Charleston owned a cemetery l~nown as C. arlestoz
cemetery; and
~HEt~EAS, s~id cemeteries are adjacent and contiguous to each other;a~d
~HERE',iS, for the better government of said cemeteries it is advisable that
they should be consolidated as one and be governed by the szme rules and regulations;
NO~,THEREF0!~E, THE CITYCOI'~'[ISSION OF THE CITY 02 BRE~RTON DO HEREBY ORDAIN,
AS ~0LL0~S:
SECTION 1. That Ivy ~reen Cemetery and wha~ is -known as Charleston emetery
be and the same ~rei:hereby consolidated as one cemetery to be hereafter known as I"y Green
Cemetery,
SECTION 2. That the Ord~mances,rules and regulations heretofore a~o ~ted and
p~ssed by the City of Bremerton for the government'and controlof Ivy Green Ceme ;ery be
~nd ~n-~y ore n~reoy aGop~eG,al~proved,r&~i~flcG and confirmed as ~he 0rdin~nces,
rule& ~nd ze~l~ions governing the eonsolida~d:~csme~aries hereafter to be
kno~ as Ivy Green Cemetery.
5ECTION 3. This ordinance shall b~ in full forc~ and effect ~hirty
d~.ys from and ~fter its passag~ ~:~nd publiea~ion ~s provided by law.
