W~REAS, it h~s been found necess~ry in order to properly conduct
the office of the Oily Treasurer of s~.~mid City Of Bremer~on, ;V~shington, to
purchase for par~ use of s~zid depar~men~ ~ c~sh register; ~-nd ~73EEAS, no
provision w~s m~de in ~he budget for the ye~r 19S9 for ~he purch~se of such
cash register; and WHE~, ~he pro ra~a estimated cost of such c~sh reg-
ister ~o s~id Treasurer's Department is ~he s~ of Pour Hundred (~".~00.)
Dollars; and %~HEt{EkS, ~he purch~se of such c.~sh register will c~use ~
shortage in such dep~r~men~ in the s~u~ of Pour Hundred (~400) Dollars,
which could no~ haw been reasonubly forse~n ~ ~he ~ime of the m~king
of ~he budge~ for ~he ye~r 19~9; ~nd ~TH?~Z~S, ~he Co~ission of s?id City
has duly inves~ed the necessity for the purchase of such c~sh register
and has found ~h~ such purch~se os ~bsolu~ley necessary for the proper'
handling of ~he business of s~id dep~rtmen~; and ~EREAS; ~fter due invest-
~ga~ion, ~he s~id ~o~mission h~s ~scer~ined th~.~ in order to m~2in~in ~nd
~per~e s~id dep~rtmen~ for ~he rem~inder of the year 19~9, it is necessary
~o appropri~'~e s~id s~ of Pour Hundred {~)400) Dollars for ~he use ~nd

19~9, signed by ~he ~layor t~nd a~ested by the City Clerk in ~u~hen~ic~tion
