AN ORDIN:~NOE': providing for the improvement of tronsides Avenue from
the intersection of the center-line of X~ensides Avenue and East Thirteenth
Street, north tO the intersection cf the center-line of said avenue and Eas~
Sixteenth Street, by clearing, grubbing, grading and the construction of
concrete walks five' feet in width on each side thereof together with any and
all other work to finish ~he Job in a good and workmanlike manner and to do
such o~her and further work in connection ~herewi~h as may be necessary
make such improvement a complete Job, all in accordance wi~h a resolution
passed by the 0ity Oommission on the 2~.nd day of ~.ctober, 19S0, ~nd creating
]'.ocal Improvement District No. 1EB~ , and providing tha~ paymem~ for said
improvemen~ shall be m~de by special a~sessment upon the proper~y in said
district abutting upon contiguous or approximate ~o said im~:rcvemem, t and
payable by mode of laayments by bonds.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE 0ITY 00~,'[ISSION 0~ THE CITY 0~ BRE~iERTON
as follows:
Section 1. Tha~ I~onsides Avenue from the intersection of the
center-line of ~.ronsides Avenue and Eas~ Thirt'eenth Street, no~h
intersection of the cente~rline of said avenue and East Si~teenth S~ree~ be
improved by clearing, grubbing, grading and .the construction of concrete walks
five feet in width on each side ~hereof, toget~er with any and all other
work to finish the Job in a good and workmanlike manner and to do such other
and f~her work in connection ~herewith as ma,,be necessary ~o make such im-
provement a complete Job,
· ~ection Z. That all costs and expenses of said improvement., includ-
ing all necessary and incidental expenses, shall be borne by' and assessed
against the property included in the assessmen~ district hez'einafter cre~ted,
in accordance with the law, and the 0ity of Bremer~on shall .'~ot be liable
for any of the costs of said i.mprove~ent.
Section 0. That there is hereby established and created a Local
~mprovement Distric~ to be called and known as "Local Improvement Distric~
No,. 12~. ";' The boundaries of which district a~'e hereby specified and described
as follows, to-wit:
Beginning at the intersection of ~he center-lines of
lr'enside~ Avenue and East Thirteenth S~reet; thence
South 87 §~' 37" East 133.6~ feet along the
line of East Thirteenth S~ree~; thence North l~ E~' 83"
East 661.19' along the ~¥est side tracts 2§ and ~6 Tebbets

Section 4. That the costs and expenses of, sai~-improvement shall be
assessed against said ~operty inctu~ed in said improvement district in propor~
Sion to area in accordance wish ~he provisions of Section ~, Ohap~er 188 of the
Session Laws of ~he S~ate of ~ashington for 191§.
Se~ion B. Bonds bearing interest ~a~ ~he rz~e of ?%per annum, payable
on er before l0 years from ~he da~ of issuance.shall be issued in paymen~
costs and expenses of said improvement, which bonds shall.he redeemed by ~he
collectS, on of special assessments to be levied and assessed upon the property w~
i~ the s~id district, payable in ~. equal ins~llmen~s with in~eres~ ~ the rat
of ?~ per annum, under ~he mode of payment by bonds as defined by law and the
Ordinances of the 0i~y of Bremer~on; These bonds shall be delivered ~o the
centrao~or in the redemption of warrants on ~he Local Improvement Dimtrict
~undissued on the estimate of ~he Oity Engineer, or the' Oity of Bremer~on may
~ i~s election, sell the said bonds and mmke such redemp~io~ in cash.
Section 6. This Ordinance shall be in full force an~ effect ~hirty
days f~om and after i~s passage and publication as provided ~y law,
