AN OHD!~L,NCE providing for the licensing of dogs kept or maintained in
in the city limits of the City of Bremerton, and repealing Ordinance No. 416,
and all other ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith.

as follows:
Section 1. Tha~ a license fee or %ax is hereby levied agains~ every dog'
k~p~ or maintained within the of~y limits of the .'City of Brother,on, ~nd the owner
or Owns'rs of every dog kept or ~nalntai~-~ed within the city limits of the City of
Bremer~on shall pay a license ~o ~he ~i~y ~ of ~he City of Bremer~on for
each of said dogs so kept and maintained~ as follows, ~o-wit:
~or each male dog $1.00
Por each s~erilized female dog $1.00
Por each unsterilized, female dog
Provided, ~hat for does kep~ in kennels for breeding, sale or. sporting
purposes, an individual license ~ax shall no~ be req~ired of' ~he owner of such'
kennel, but ~he owner or keeper" of such kennel sh~.ll pay a kennel license fee
as follows:
Pot ~en dogs or less~ $10.00
Pot each additional ten dogs or fraction thereof ~ 5.00

~o provide appropriate .;et~l license ta~s, one each of which shall be delivered
~ ~he owner or owners of dogs paying such license ~ax and the said owner
owners of any and all such dogs for which such license tax is paid, shall

license ~ags shall be delivered to the owner of the'~ennel on paymen~ of the
Eennel tax as hereinbefore provided, bu~ a certificate of the paYmen~ of such tax
shall be delivered to the owner of such kennel and such certific~:~te shall design-
ate the n~ber of dogs kep~ in such kennel, the purpose for which kept, and the
breed of such dogs.
Section ~. Such license fee shall be psld on or before the let day of July
each and ~he Chief of Police of s~.tid be ~.nd he is authorized
year;

and directed to pick up or c~use to be picked up and impounded, .all dogs found
of each year upon which no license fee has been paid or license tag found.

~rdznances in conflzct herewzth be and the s~me .are hereby repealed,
$ Section. 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect hirty days
~om and after its passage and publication pro,/ided, by law.
