AN 0RDIN~CE amending Section ~ of Ordinance No. 875, entitled: "f~n Ordinance re-
lating to plumbing; providing for the examination and licensing of Journeyman
Plumbers. and for the licensing, registration and bonding of }~aster PILm~bers, treat-
i]~g an examining board for Journe~an Pl~bers; defining offenses ~nd providin~u
penalties for the violation thereof" by fixing renewal of ~as~er Pl~bers License
fee in the s~ of ~$25.00 per ann~ and fixing time for expiration of such licenses.

Section 1. Tha~ Section ? of Ordinance No. 8~, entitled: "An Ordina. noe rela~-
ing to pl~bing; providing for the examination and licensing of Journe~an Plumbers,
and for ~he licensin'~ registration s. nd bonding of ~ster Pltuubers; creatin?~ ~n
examining board for Journe~nan Pit. bets; defining offenses and providing penalties
for the violation ~hereof", be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section ?. License Pees: The initial fee for each ~:~s~er Pl~nber's License
shall be $50.00 per ann~ for each establishmen~ or place of business of each
~s~er Plt~ber, ~o be taken out in case ,:i~ ~.n~]~lduals,
~ in ~he name of ~he person
or the business, and in case of firms or corporations, in ~he name of such fi~ or
corpora, tion; provided that ~he owner and holder of a valid and subsisting ~s~er
Pl~ber's License may renew such license at the tir~e of i~s expirt~tion or any re-
newal therefor, by paying a fee of ~)25.00, bu~ no such renewal shall be permitted
where more ~t'han one month has elapsed since the expir~tion of such license, ~nd in
such even~, ~he appliocnt shall pay the regular in~tial fe~ herein p~rovided.
The fee for each Journe~lan Plumber's License ~h~.ll be ~2.00 l)er t~.un~. Licen-
ses shall be issued by ~he City Clerk only upon ~he pa~ent of such fee, and in
case of mas~er Pl~ber~, only upon ~he pre~ent~.tion of a oertific~-~te of registr~io~
hereinafter provided for; and in case of Journe~nen Pl~bers, only upon presenta-
tion of a valid and subsisting Journe~an Plumber's Certificate of Competency, duly
issued by ~he Examinin~ Board for Plt~bers, hereinafter provided for.

Section ~. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect ~hirty days from
and after its passage ~nd publication ~s provided by law.
