hereof," by providing ~ha~ a proper~y ~,ond acceptable ~o ~e City
may be filed by mas~er plumber~ established in ~he City e~ Bremer~on f~
~wo years or more.

Sec.tionl. That Section ll of Ordinance No. 8~5, entitled ".~ Ordinance
relating to plmnbing; providing for the examination and licensing ~ Journe~an
~l~bers, and for the ill, easing, registration and bonding cf master pin, tubers;
cre~ting an ~amination Boar~ for Journeymaa Plumbers, de['ining offenses
providing penal*les for.viol~tion hereof," be amended to read as follo~:
Section ll~ ~ster Pl~nber's Surety Bond. The surety bond required of
~ster pl~bers by Section Six shall be ].n the sum of ~o Thousand ($2000.00)
Dollars for each establishm~nt or place cT business maintained by any person,
firm or corporation as mas~er pl~.~er, r~ning ~o .~he Oily of Bremer~o~,
*he use and benefi~ of said Ci~y, and of any and all per,ns dealing wi~h
Licensee or his agents in his capacity as mas~er plumber, ~nd shall be executed
by ~he applican~ and by a su~e~y company authorized ~o do business in
S~a~e of Wa~},~ng~0n, '~which bond~shall ~e conditioned ~ha~ ~he licensee and
his a~}'en~s sh~1 Fully comPly'wi~h all provisions of law relaxinE ~o plumbi~,
of action on'~sai~ bond in his own name, and ~ha~ ~he 'principal and suri~ies
shall pay all Jud..~'men~srecovered ag~ins~ ~he principal for any viola~i}n or
er failure ~o comply wi~h ssid provisions of law~ provided ~ha~ such action
mus~ be commenced within one ~1) yea~ after ~he comole~ion of ~he wo~,
The sure~y on such bond sahll nG~ be '~inble ~heren~der $o any one person in
excess of ~he s~ of ~o Thousand ~$~000,00) Dollars. .S~id bonds shall be fur-
~her conditioned ~ha~ in performing plumbi~g wor~ all re~sonabls cars ~ud skill
~o ~void and preVen~ a was~a.~e of Oily ~a.~er shall be employed and ~ all
regulations intender1 to preven~ a w~s~e of 0i~y ~a~er will be complied wi~h,
and ~ha~' for a vi~lation off any of ~he provisions of ~his section~ the Oi~y of
Bremerton shall have a righ$ of a.~ion on said bond for sn amo~m~ no~ ~o exceed
~o ~undred [$200.~) Dollars; provided, ~ha~ 'such ac~ion ~:.-hall be commenced

WITHIN ONE (1) year after ~he compl~i",n of ~he .work; and provided further

liguida~ed damages for loss of wa~r due ~o any such lack of skill or
negligence. Provided ~ha~ any mas~er pl~unber having been es~blished in ~he
Oily of Bre~r~on as such ~s~er pl~be~ for ~wo years or more, and having
had a mas~er plmnber's license for ~wo or more Buccessive years nex~ preceeding
~y, in liew of such sure~y bond hereinabo~e proviz]cd'file wi~h ~he Ci~y 01erk
a good and sufficien~ proper~y b~ond in ~he same amoun~ and wi~h ~he same provis~
and penalties as hereinabove required for a sure~y bond, which bond shall ~e
signedby ~wo or more sufficien~ sure~ys owning proper~y in ~he 0i~y of
Bremer~on who shall justify ~der oa~h as ~o each of ~heir s~ficiency, and
which bond shall be referred ~o ~he Oi~y 00~ission a~ a regular meeting ~here~~
for ~heir approval or rejection, und when approved shall be accepSed by ~he
~i~y 01erk and ~ mas~erpl~ber's License shall be issued ~hereon.
