BY EXTENDING THE TER~{ 01P THE LEASE PROVIDED IN SAID ORDIN~;NCE TO TEN (10] .YEs, RS.

Section 1. That Section i of Ordina~nce No. 966 entitled:
"AN ORDINANCE ~ranting unto the Kitsap Co,sty Co-operative 0anning Associa-
~'~ ~ ticn, a corpor~tion, the right and privilege to use and occupy Wycoff Avenue
· South of Port.er Stree~ in the City of Bremerton for the purpose of constructing ~z
opef~ing thereon a' canning factory ,and defining the terms thereof."
, BE amended to read as follows:
"Section 1. That the City of Bremerton, Kttsap Oounty, ~shingtcn, does ·
hereby and by these presents gra.nt unto Kitsap ~cu~ty co-operative 0arming Ass-
ociation, a Coporation, the right and privilege to construct, own, operate, main:
tain~ enlarge and e~tend a building for the operation and maintenance of ca~'~ning
'~'~ fruits and vegetables and hereb~ leases and lets to said grantee W~ycoff Avenue
~'~' ·from the south margin ~f Porter Street south a distance of 200 feet for the '
period of ten (lC) years from t~e effective date of this ordiance, at a monthly
~:~ rental ~herefor of $1.00 per month, to be paid in advance on the firsl day of
each and every month ~ring the ~erm of. this lease ~o the Gtt y Tmeasurer of the
tit y of Bremerton."
Section ~. Thh~ Section 3 cf ss. id ordinance should be amended to rea~ as
follows:
Sec. 3. This gr~nt and lease is hereby granted for a pez'iod cf ten (lC) yea.rs
from and after ~he effective date of this ordinmmee,
Section 3. This ordinance shall be placed on file for a period cf one week
after its first re~ding for public inspection, and if no sufficien~ protest is
made thereto, then this ordinance sh~tll become effective thir~y days from and
after i~s final passage and publioa.~ion as provi~ by law.

8th day of June, 19~2, and no sufficient protest having, been' filed c~ made
this ordinance was duly passed by the City Commission on the. second reading

of such passage this 15th day of June, 1952.
