AS follows:
Sec~ion 1. That the 0ity of BRENEHTON, Eitsap County,
Washington, does hereby and by ~hese presents gran~ un~o Kitsap 0oun~y C0-
opera,ire 0anning Association, a corporation the right and privilege to
construct, own, operate, maintain, e~large and extend a building for mthe.
oper~tion and maintenance of canning of fruits and vegetables and hereby
leases and lets to said gran~ee, Wycoff Avenue from ~he So~th margin of
Porter Street South a dist,~nce of 200 feet for a period of five ~B) years
from ~he effec~ive date of this ordinance, at ~ monthly rental ~ therefor of
$1.00 per month, to'be paid in advance on the first day of each and every
month during the term of this leaze to ~he 0ity Treasurer of the City of
Bremerton.
Section 2. Said building or any construction placed'~hereon
Shall be so buil~ and constructed as not to injure the paving upon said street
and sh~ll be so constructed as to leave a distance of at le~s~ l~ fee~ along
said avenue South of Porter Street free and clear from obstructions and as
a right of way for vehicular and ether Sravel along said street, and upon ~he
termination of this lease, shall leave said street in as good condition as
i~ was prior to the use and occupancy of said street by'Said'association, and
by the acceptance of this righ~ and privilege, the said company assumes all
liability and responsibility for any and all damage or injuries to-persons
or property tha~ may o~cur br be c~used as a resUltof any such said canning
factory or other building thereon, and shall hold the city harmless from any
and all such injury and damage that i~ or any person may sustain during the
lifetime of this grant by any ao~ or on~nission on the part of the said Grautee
herein, its afents or representatives. The City 0ommission is to be ~he sole
JudEe whether or not the provisions herein se~ forth have bee~ complied with.

per~od of five years from and a~ter the effeotive d~te cf this Ordinance.

Section 4. Prior to the. constructing or the beginning of any constrt~ctien
upon said street, ~he use of which is herein conveyed, ~he said Grantee s~ll
file with the ~ity Clerk i~s written acceptance of ~he provisions of this

Section 5. No rights under this ordinance shal]. ~,e assigned or transferred
~y the Gran~ee herein except by the written consent of the City Co~m~ission
first had and obtained. ..
Section 8. This ordinance shall be pl~:~c'd on file for a period of one wee~
after its first reading for public inspection, and if no sui'ficient protest
is made thereto, ~hen this ordinance shall become effective thirty days from
and after its final passage and ?ublication as i~rovided by law.
