AN ORDINANCE amendin~ Section 5 of Ordlnanee No. 950 entitled,
"An Ordinance rela~ing to and regulating the producrlion, sale and
disrlriburlion of milk and milk products in the Girly of Bremerton,
adopting the definitions of terms and srlandards of quality of such
milk and milk products, of requirmenrls of cleanliness of the premises,
stables and plan~s where produced or 'prepared, and all provisions and
requirmen2s relating there2o of the laws of Qbe Starle of ~ashin!~.~ton as
to milk and milk-producgs sold within ~he Ci~y of Bremerrlon$ prohibiting
rlhe sale of milk and milk produc~s in the City of Bremerton produced,
prepared or sold in 'violation of such provisions; requiring a permirl for
each crearaery or pasturization planrl; providing for the licensing of milk
delivery rlrucks; providing for inspection of creameries and pasfiurtzation
plan~s; requiri~'~g the pasrlurizatioa of milk sold in the Oity of ]~remerton
in plants located in the Gity of Bremerton, and providing penalties for
violation thereof, and repealing all ordinanee~'~ and par~s of ordinances in
conflicrl herewifih.~ by making iQ unlawful ~o sell or offer t0 ~ell any
pasrlurized mil~or cream, in the City of Bremerton unle~.~s such milk or cream
ha~ been pas~zrized in the Oity of Bremerrlon, e~cepting planrls now selling
pas~urized milk or cream, in said city or their successors and procuring a
license therefor,

as follows:
Section 1, That SecQion B of Ordinance No, 950 entitled ,"An Ordin~.~nc,~
relating to and regulating ~he produ~i, on, s~le and distribution of milk
and milk products in the City of Bre:~erton, adopting the definitions of terms
and standards of quali~y of such milk and milk products, of requirments of
cleanliness of the premises, stables and pl:~n~s whe','e produced or prepared,
and all provisions amd requirments rel:.~Qing thereto of the laws of the State
of ~¥ashington as to milk and milk' produc~s sold within rlhe Oity o£ Bremerton;
Prohibi$ing rlhe sale of mil~l~ and milk products in Qbe City of Bremerton produced
prepared.or sold in violation of such provisions; requiring a permit for each
creamery .or pastttrizarlion plant; providing for the licensing of milk delivery
trucks; providing for inspection of. creameries' and pas~urization plants; re~uir-
lng rlhs pas~r~ization of milk sold in the dity of Bremerton in plants located
in ~he 0irly of Bre~uerrlon, ~ within a radius, of two miles, of the City of
Bremerton, and providing p~ties for violation thereof, an~ epe.~,ling

.hereBy amended to read as fellows:
· ~ecrlion 5, IQ shall be unlawful for any per~'~n, firm or corporate'on to
bring into or receive in the City of Bremer~on'for s~le or to sell or offer for s~
~herein, cr to have on hand ~herein for sale any p~s~uri~ed milk or cream on and
after ~he effective date of this Ordinance,. unless such milk or cream h~s been
pas~urized in ~he City cf Bremerton, provided that any person, firm or cori~ora~ion
new selling pas~urized milk or crea.~ in the City of Bremer~on under a permi~ so
to do or thei~ successors may continue to sell. such pasturized~milk or cream upon
securing ~ pe~mi~ annually ~herefor, as 'Drovided by 0~dinance No. 950.
Section E, This O~dinanoe shall be in full force and effec~ ~hir~y (30)
days from and after i~s passage and publication as provided by law.
