Weynard Avenue from the center of Trenton Avenue, North to the city limits;
Perry Avenue from the North margin of Eleventh Street, North to the North
Mmrgin of East Thirteenth Street, and East Thirteenth ~treet from the East
margin of Perry Avenue to the center of Ironsides Avenues by clearing, gradinl
and grubhing~ and providing for the drainage of embh and all of said stree~
proposed to be improved, the construction of curbs and gutters, and the con-
struction of six-foot concrete walks on the North and South sides of Eleventh
~treet between ~infield Avenue and ~ayward Avenue, and the construction of
five-foot concrete sidewalks on the South side of Eleventh Street only be-
tween Hayw~rd Avenue and Nipsic Avenue; The construction of five-foo~ con-
crete sidewalks and of curbs and gutter-s on the East and West sides of Perry
Avenue within the li~nits proposed to be improved, and the construction of
five-foo~ concrete sidewalks and the construction of curbs and gutters on
both sides of East Thirteenth Street within the limits proposed to be impr0.
ed. and providing for drainaga for each and all of sa. id streets within the li~.i
proposed 2o be improve~, ~ogether with the doing of any and all other work n
necessary to finish the Job in a good and workmanlike manner, and the doing
of such other and further work in con.nection therewith as may be necessary tot
make such improvement a complete Job, all in accordance with a resolution
passed by the City Commission on the 20th day of May, 19Z1, and creating
LoealImprovement Distric~ No. 124, and providing ~hat payment for sa. id im-
provement shall be made by special assessments upon khe property in said
district abutting upon, contiguous, or approximate to said improvement and
payable by mode of payments by bonds.
BE IT ORD=INED BY THE CITY C0~ISSION OF THE CITY 0~ BRE~RTON
as follows:
Section 1. That East Eleventh Street from the center line of Ninfield
Avenue to the center line of Trenton Avenue: Weynard Avenue from the center
of Trenton Avenue, North to the city limits; Perry Avenue from the aorth ·
margin of Eleventh Street, North to the ~orth margin of East Thirteenth STreet,
and East Thirteenth Street from the East Margin of Perry ~enue to the center
of Ironsides Avenue by clearing, grading ~nd grubbing, and providing for the
drainage of each and all of said streets proposed to be improved, ~he eon-
struction of curbs and gutters, and the construction of six-foot concrete
walks on ~he North and South sides of Eleventh Street between ~infield Avemue
and Haywa~d Avenue, :~.nd the construction of five-foot concrete sidewalks on
the South side of Eleventh Street only between Hayward ~venue and ~ipsic
Avenue;~he construction of five-foo~ ~oncrete sidewalks and of curbs a~d

and gutters on bo~h sides of East Thirteenth S~reet within the limits proposed to
be improved, and providing for draina,~ for each and a].l of said streets within
the limits proposed to be improved, together with the doing of any and all other
work necessary to finish the Job in a good and work,anlike manner, and the doing
of such other and further work in connection therewith as may be necessary
make such improvemen~ a complete' job.
Section 2. That all costs and expense of s,'~id imporvement, including all
necessary .~.nd incidental expenses, ahall 'be ~orne hy and assessed against the
property included in the assessment district hereinafter created, in accordance
with the law, ~nd the 0ity of Bremerton sh~ll not be liable for any~of the costs
of said Improvement.
Section ~. Tha~ there is hereby est~_~hlished and created a Local improvement
District to be c~.~lled and known as "Local Improvement District No.

Section 4. That ~he cos~ and expenses of said improvement shall'
be assessed against said property included in s~id improvement dis~ric~
in~prepor~ion to ares and in accordance with the provisions of Section
Ohapter 168 of ~.$he Session Y~aws of ~he S~ate of Washington for 1915.
Section 5. BonAs bearing interes~ at the rs. re of 7%percent annum,
payable on or before ~en years from the da~e of issuance shall be issued
in payment of ~he costs and expenses of said improvement, which bonds
shall be redeemed by ~he collection of special assessments to be levied
and assessed upon the proper~y within the said district, payable in eight
equal installments wi~h interes~ at the ra~e of ?$per annum, under ~he
mode of ~aymen~s by bonds as defined by law and the Ordinance of
City of Bremerton; These bonds shall be delivered to the contractor
in the redem~$ion of warrants on the Local Improvement Dis~ric~ ~und
issued on ~he estimate of the City Engineer, or ~he City of Bremerton
may at i~s elections sell the said bonds and make ~sueh redemption in cash.
Section 6. This Ordinance sha~ll be in full force and effec~ thirty
days days ~rom and after its passage and publication as provided by law.
PASSED by the City Commission, signed by the Mayor and attested
by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage ~his let day of Suly,
1931.
