ing an~ assessing the cost thereof against the parcels and lots of lands and
par~s thereof between the termini an~ within the bo~dary of said stree~ as
sh~ on the said assessment roll,an~ providing for the i~s~ce of ~he bonds
in pa~en~ ~hereof.

Section 1. ~ha~ ~he asse~smen~ roll of Local ImProvemen~ Dis~ric~
~lB~,providing for ~he improvemen~ of Broadway Avenue from ~he cen~er line
Thireem~h S~ree~ north ~o ~he oen~er line of ~if~een~h S~ree~ by
the construction and laying of a storm an& 'sanitary sewer and the laying,
Connecting and adjustment of lateral sewers,the adjustment and replacement
of water mains,with connections thereto,and the construction of a concrete
sidewalk five feet in width,on the East side of said Broadway Avenue from
Thirteenth street north to l~ifteenth Street,together with such other and
further work in connection therewith as may be necessary to make such imp-
rovement a complete Job, all in accordance with the plans and specifications
on file in the offices of the City Clerk, as provided by Ordinance ~9~0 be
and the same is hereby approved and confirmed,
Section 2. That' each parcel and lot of land or part thereof as shown
in said assessment roll is specially benefitted by said improvement,and that there
be and hereby isassessed against each parcel and lot of land and part thereof
and other property contained in said Improvement District as shown in said roll,
including property belonging to the 0ity of Bremerton, the respective amounts
in said roll set against each said parcelor lot of land, or part thereof,and
o~her proper~y between the termini of said imorovement abutting upon,adjacent
Or proximate to said street,and such amounts so assessed are hereby declared
~o be first loin against each parcel or lot of land or part thereof,against
which the same is assessed in said roll.
Sectiob 3. That for the ourpose of this improvement there is hereby
created and established a special fund to be known and called "T.ocal Imnrove-
sent ~und, District No. 12~". Bonds shall be issued in serial numbers
from One to / '~~,~ , , b~th inclusive,or so many as may be necessary to provide
for the uncollected portion of said special assessment due or owing in said
district on the date hereinafter fixed, the same to be in denominations of Two
Hundred Dollars each, except the first,which shalI be for such fractional part
of ~o Hundred~$E00.00) Dollars as may be ~emaining due and unpaid on said date,
payable from said"T, ocal Improvement ~und District ~12~."
Section 4. That the 20th day of July A.D., 1931, be and the same is
hereby fixed for the date of the issuance and sale of the bonds to be issued on
account of said improvement.
Section 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty
days from and after its passage and publication as provided bY law.
Passed by the City Commission, signed by the Mayor, and attested by the
