aN (~RD1N~NCE levying special and general municipal taxes against all the
taxable ProPerty in the City of Bremerton for the year 193§ and levying special
and general municipal taxes against all the taxable property within the limits
of the City of Bremerton prior to its consolidation with the City of Charleston
for the year 1935, and approving the assessment levy as mede by the County
assessor of Kitsap County.

Seetion 1. That a tax of twelve and 8E03/10000 (.0128205) mills on the
total valuation of the taxable property of the City Of Bremerton assessed at
Three Mllllon, Nine Hundred Eighty-eight Thousand Seven Hundred FiftY-four ~nd
no/100 ($3,988,754) Dollars amounting to Fifty-one Thousand One Hundre6 Thirty-
Seven and 02/100 ($51,13~.02) Dollars be and the' same is hereby levied against
all the taxable 'property in the City of Bremerton for Current Expenses for
munielpal purposes for the year 1935, the same to be carried on the tax rolls
and collected by the Treasurer of Kitsep County.
Section 2. That a tax of one and two hundred ninety three thous~nds
mills, on the total valuation of the taxable property in the City of Bremerton,
assessed at Three Million Nine Hundred Eighty-Eight Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty-
]~our and no/100 ($3,988,954) Dollars, amounting to Five Thousand One Hundred
Fifty-Seven and 45/100 ($§,157.45) Dollars, for library fund, and for use and
purpose of such library in the City of Bremerton, be and the same is hereby
levied against all the taxable property situated in the City of Bremerton for
the year 1935, the same to be carried on the tax rolls, and collected by the
Treasurer of Kitsap County.
Section 3. That a tax of Eight an~ 867/10006 (.0008867) mills on the total
valuation of the taxable property in the City of Bremerton assessed at Three
Million Nine Hundred Eighty-Eight Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty-Four ($3,988,754)
amounting to Three Thousand '~'ive £tundred Thirty-Six and 80/100 ($3,536.90)
for Park and Playfields ~'unds and for use and purposes of public parks and
playfields in the City of Bremerton be an~ the same is hereby. assessed against
all the taxable property situated in the City of Bremerton for the year 1935,
~he same to be carried on the tax rolls and collected by the Treasurer of
Kitsap County.
Section 4. That a tax of One and 204/10000 (.001204) mills on the total
valuation of the taxable property contained and sitUated within the limits of
what was the City of Bremerton prior to its consolidation with the City of
charleston, assessed at Three Million Seventy~F. aur Thousand Twenty-Two and no/100
($3,$~4,022) Dollars amountlng ~o Three Thousand Seven Hundred and no/100
($3,~00.00) Dollars, be and the same is hereby levied against all the taxable
property within the said llmits of the City of Charleston, for City Hall bonds
' redemption and interest fund incurred prior to such consolidation for the year
1935, the same to be carried on the tax rolls and oollected by the Treasurer
of Kitsep County. .
Section 5. That the assessment roll as made by.the County assessor and
reviewed by the County Co~n~lissioners of Kitsap County for tile year 1935 be
arid the same is hereby approved as the assessment roll for the levying of
municip~l taxes for the City of Bremerton.
Section 8. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from end
~fter its passage ~ad publication a.s provided by'law.
P~8SED and adopted by the City Co~,~ission of the City of Bremerton at the
regular statutory meeting held for said purpose on the First Monday of October,
1934, signed by the Mayor and attested ~y the City Clerk in authentication of
such passage this 1st day of October, 1934.
