providing for the improvement of parts of High avenue, Veneta avenue, Chester ave-
nue, Seventh Street, Ninth Street, Tenth Street, Eleventh Street and Ohio avenue
by grading, paving, providing for the drainage thereof, in accordance with the
maps, plans and specificstions on file in the office of the City Clerk, establish-.
lng an improvement district, providing for the levying of assessments for the pay-
ment of such improvements and making such improvement payable by bonds," by
striking therefrom the part to improve Tenth Street by the construction of side-
walks.

Section 1. That Section 1 of 0rdinanoe INc. 1032 providing for the improve-
ment of High ~venue', Veneta ~,venue, Chester ~venue, Seventh Street, Ninth Str~eet,'
Tenth Street, Eleventh Street and Ohio ~venue be amended to read as follows:
Section 1. T[mt High ~,venue from the north ~mrgin of Sixth Street to tt~e
center line of Eleventh Street; Veneta ~,venue from the north end of the present
pavement (located midway between Eighth ~nd ~inth Street) north to the south
margin of Eleventh Street; Chester ~venue from the north end of the present pave-
ment (located midway between Eighth Street and ~Inth Street) north~to the south
martin of Eleventh Street; Seventh Street from the west margin of High ~venue
west to the east margin of Pennsylvania ~venue; Einth Street from the west margin
of Ohester ~venue west to the east ~mrgin of High ~venue; Eleventh Street from the
east m~rgin of Chester ~venue west to the center line of High ~venue and Ohio
~venue from the north nmrgin of Eleventh Street north one hundred t~enty (120)
feet be improved by clearing, grubbing, grading, altering, adjusting and/or
lowering of side se~ers and sewer connections and appurtenances where necessary;
the construction and adjusting of water mains and appurtenances providing for drain-
' age, the construction and alteration of sidewalks, by paving with a one-course
: concrete pavement; and Tehth Street from the west ~rgin of Veneta nvenue west
to the east nmrgin of High =venue be improved by construction of lateral sewers
and sewer appurtenances, all in accordance with the maps and specifications now
:: on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Bremerton."
Section 2. '~his ordinance s~mll be in full force and effect thirty days
from and after its passage and publication as provided by law.
Passed ~r the City Com~issio~ :~f the City of Bremerton, signed by the Mayor
and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage this 22nd day of
September, 1934.
