AN ORDINANCE adopting a Building Code in book form, relating to building
construction in the City of Bremerton, providing rules and regulations therefor,
designated as "Building Code of the City of Bremerton, Washington, 1933"; pro-
viding for amendments and additions thereto; providing penalties for the viola-
tions thereof; and repealing Ordinance No. 477 and all other ordinances and parts
of ordinances in conflict herewith.
THE CITY COMJ~I~SION OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON DO 0HDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That a certain document in .book form, three copies of which are.
on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Bremert0n, being marked and
designated as "Building Code of the City of Bremerton, Washington, 1933", be and
the same is hereby adopted as the Building Code of the City of Bremertgn, and
all rules and'regulations' and provisions for the erection, construction,· enlarge-
ment, alteration, repair, moving, removal, demolation, conversion, occupancy,
equipment, use, height, area, and maintenance of all buildinEs and/or structures
in the City of Bremerton, including all other provisions therein contained relating
provisions therein contained providing for the issuance of permits and the collectio~
of fees therefor, and each and all of the regulations, provisions, conditions,, and
terms of such Building Code Ordinance of the City of Bremerton on file in the
office of the City Clerk be and the same are hereby referred to, adopted, and
~i~i~!~'~made a part hereof, as if and to the same effect as though fully set forth in

Section 2. The City Clerk shall keep on hand at least three copies of such
· ::"Building Code Ordinance of the City of Bremerton, Washington, 1933," for the use
of the public and as reference, and shall provide for such additional copies for
sale or distribution to persons interested as may be .determined by the City
Commission.
Section 3. Amendments to this ordinance may be made by filing with the
City Clerk at loast three copies of such amendments or additions, and providing
for such additions or amendment's as may' be necessary for public use, and dis-
· tributed to those who have purchased copies of such Code without the necessity of
further adopting such amendments or/and additions.
Section 4. Any person, firm, o'r corporation violating or failing to comply
with the provisions and requirements of such Building Code so adopted, shall be
deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction thereof shall be punished by
fine in any sum not exceeding the sum of One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars, or
imprisonment in the City Jail for a term not exceeding Thirty (30) days, or by
both such fine and imprisonment.

Section 5. That ordinance No. 477 and all other ordinances of the 'City
of Bremerton, or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 6. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty (30)
days from and after its passage and publication as provided by law.
PASSED by the City Commission, approved by the ~layor and attested by the
City Clerk in authentication of such passage this 28th day of Septemberl 1935.
