AN ORDINANCE approving and adopting the assessment roll for Local Improve-
ment District No. 13~ under Ordinance No. 10~1 providing for the improvement pf
parts of Fourth Street, Fifth Street, Olympic Court, and Olympic Avenue, as in
said ordinance provided, the levying and assessing the cost thereof against the
parcels and lots of land and parts thereof between the termini and within the
boundary of said streets, as shown on the said assessment roll, and providing
for the collection thereof and fixing the date for the issuance of bonds and
payment thereof.
BE IT ORDAINED BY ~E CITY C0i~I$SION OF THE CITY OF BRE~ERTON:
Section 1~'~ That the assessment roll for Local Improvement District No.
13~ providing for.the in~rovement of Fourth Street from the West margin of
Naval Avenue West to the East margin of Olympic Avenue by clearing, grubbing,
grading and the laying of sewers; Fifth Street from the West margin of Naval
Avenue West to the East margin of Olympic Avenue by clearing, grubbing,
grading and the laying of sewers and concrete sidewalks; Olympic Court from
the north margin of Burwell Street North ~E0 fe.et by clearing, g~ubbing, grad-
ing and by paving with one course concrete pavement for a distance of 10~ feet
from the north margin of Burwell Street, and the laying of sewers; and Olympic
Avenue from the ~orth margin of Burwell Street North to the South margin of
Sixth Street by clearing, gr~bbing, grading, and by the laying of concrete
sidewalks on the West margin thereof, with such other and further work in
connection therewith as may be necessary to make such improvement a complete
job~ all in accordance with the plans and specifications on file in the office
of the City Clerk, as provided by 0rdinanc~ No. 10~1 be and the same is hereby
approved and confirmed.
Bestion E. That each parceled lot of land or part thereof as shown in
said assessment roll is speciall~ benefited by said improvement, and that there
be and hereby is assessed against each parcel and lot of land and part thereof
and other property contained in said improvement district as shown in said roll,
including the property belonging to the City of Bremerton, the respective amounts
in said roll set against each said parcel or lot of land, or part thereof, and
other property between the termini of said improvement ab~tting upon, adjacent
or proximate to said street, and such ~aounts so assessed are hereby declared
to be first lien against each parcel or lot of land or part thereof, against
which the same is assessed in said roll.
Section $. That for the purpose of this said impr6vement there is hereby
created and established a special fund to be known and ~alled "Local Improve-
ment Fund, District No. 1Z&". Bonds ~hall be issued in serial numbers from
One to ~ both inclusive, or so many as may be necessary to provide for

the uncollected portion of said special assessment due or owing in said district
on the date hereinafter fixed, the same to be in denominations of One Hundred
($100o00) Dollars, each, exc~ept the first, which shall be for such fractional
part of ihvo Hundred ($200.00) Dollars as may be remaining due and unpaid on said
date, payable from said "Local Improvement Funds, District No. 134".
Section 4. That the 24th day of October, 1935 be and the same is hereby
fixed for the date of the issuance and sale of the bonds to be issued on account
of said improvement.
Section 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect t,~_hirty days
from and after its passage and publication as provided by law.
Passed by the City Co~ission, signed by the ~ayor and atte~ by the
City Clerk in authentication of such passage this Zlst day of August, 19~.
