AN ORDINANCE authorizing and directing the Treasurer of the City of Bremerton
to call IMPROVEMENTS ahD BETTERMENTS WATER WORKS BONDS of the City of Bremerton
issued by the said City July 1, 1921, pursuant to ordinance No. 555 of the City
of ~remerton, and numbered 856 to 1800, both inclusive, to present said bonds
for payment to the City Treasurer on July 1, 1935, and declaring an emergency.
BE IT 0RD~I~ED BY THE M~YOR ~D THE CITY C0~ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON:
Section 1. That the City of Bremerton does hereby elect to pay and redeem
on the 1st day of July, 1935, Improvements and Better~aents Water ~orks Bonds,
of the said City, numbered 856 to 1800, both inclusive, each in the denomination
of $100, which were issued by the City of Bremerton on July 1, 1921, pursuant to
ordinance No. 555 of the said City.
Section 2. That the Treasurer of the City of Bremerton is authorized and
directed to call said bonds for redemption on July 1, 1935, and to give ten days'
notice of said call for redemption by publication in the Bremerton Daily ~ews
Searchlight on June 12, 13 and 14, 1935.
Section 3. This ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation of
the public peace, health and safety of the City of Bremerton and the same shall
~take effect immediately after its passage and publication.
Unanimously passed by the City Commission on this 10th day of June, 1935.
