~N 0RDIN=NCE providing for the platting selling and c'onveying of certain
properties 'owned by the ~/ater Department of the City of Bremerton.
~'~HERE~S, certain portions of the property now owned by the ~ater Depart-
ment of the City of Bremerton are not included in the water shed and do not
drain into any stream I~rom which the said city derives its water supply, and
is of no value to the Wa~er Department of said city or to said city and should
be disposed of, and the City Co~ission of the City of Bremerton finds that it
would be more advantageous to the Water Department of said city to plat, sell
and Gonvey such portions thereof as do n~ actually form a part of such wa~er
shed.

~TON,~ as follows:
Section 1. That the City Engineer be and he is hereby eu~horized and
directed to plat into convenien~ and re~-~son~ble sizes of lo~s or tracts the
following described real property, ~o-wi~:
The ~, N%~,SV~, and SW~, N%%'~, S~, and ~, ,
SE~ N~{-, S~, and NE~ SW~,
SW~-, and West 3 acres ofthe NE~, NW~~, S~'~-~, all in section 32, Township
24 North, Range 1 East: excepting that port,on of land lying in the
gestern part of the NW~, RW~, S~V~, and SW~, NW~, S~ of said section, and
more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the NW corner of the SW~ of said section and running thence
S. 88 degrees 25'21" East 5~0 feet; thence S. 11 degrees 44', 51" W.
1351.23 feet; thence N. 88 degrees 13'44" ~lest 280 feet; thence North
one degree 32'17" East 1329.08 feet to the place of beginning, excepting
that portion of land lying in the South part of the above described
tract deeded for State Road No.. 14
and to provide for and construct necessary highways, streets, alleys, public
ways and placed to give reasonable access to each of such tracts or lots.
Section 2. The City Oot~aission shall place such reasonable price upon each
of such lots as their size, location and advantages will warrant, cna shall sell
and convey the same upon application either for cash or upon contract of pur-
chase with such reasonable terms as they may deem just and e~uitable, and also
to dedicate to the use of the public such high,ways, alleys, streets, public ways
and places as is provided therein, and as they ~y deem necessary therefor.
Section 3. The M~yor and City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and
directed, after the co~r~ission has provided for the sale of any of such tracts
or lots, so platted, either for cash or upon terms, to execute in the name of
the City of Bremerton all such instruments of conveyance either by deed, contract
or otherwise, as the City Co~ission shall provide for each of such tracts and
lots and when such instruments of conveyance are so executed the City of Bremerton
shall be bound thereby according to the terms thereof.
Section 4. The cost of surveying and platting such lots and tracts, to-
gether ~ith cost of construction of all highsays and public places provided
therein and all other necessary expense shall be paid fr~ the funds or the
~ater Department of the City of Bremerton, and all moneys received i'rom the sale

of such lots and tracts shall be credited and paid into the funds of the Water
Department of the City of Bremerton.
Section 5. This ordinance shall, be in full force and effect thirty days
from and after its passage and publication as provided by law.
Passed by the City Commission of the City of ~remerton, signed by the ~ayor
and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage this 13th day
of zpril, '1935.
