aN ORDINANCE approving and adopting the ~ssessmen~ ~oll for Local Improvement
District ~o. 155 under Ordinance No. 1054 providing for the improvemen~ of
Bloomington avenue from the north margin of First Street, north to the south
margin of Bhrwell Street, levying and assessing the cost thereof against the
parcels and lots of land and part thereof between the termini and within the
boundaries of said street, as shown on said assessment roll, providing for the
collection thereof and fixing the date for the issuance of the bonds in pay-
ment thereof.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY CO~ISSIO~ OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON:
Section 1. That the assessment roll for Local Improvement District No.
133, providing for the improvement of Bloomington Avenue from the north margin of
First Street north to the south margin of Burwell Street by clearing, grubbing,
grading, altering, adjusting, lowering of sldesewers and sewer connections and
appurtenances where necessary, the construction and adjusting of inlets, catch
basins, manholes a~xl flush tanks, providing for drainage thereof, the adjusting
and connection of water mains with connections thereto, and by paving with a
one-course concrete pavement approximately six inches thick and thirty feet wide,
together with the construction of concrete curbs and gutters on each side thereof
and the construction of concrete sidewalks where necessary, with the doing of
such other and further work in connection ~herewlth as may be necessary to ma~e
such improvement a complete job, all in accordance with the plans and specif-
ications on file in the office of the City Clerk, as provided by Ordinance
~1034, be and the same is hereby approved and confirmed.
Section 2. That each parcel and lot of land or part thereof as shown in
said assessment roll is specially benefited by said improvement, and that there
be and hereby is assessed against each parcel and lot of land and part thereof
and other property contained in said Improvement District as shown in said roll,
including the property belonging to the City of Bremerton, the respective amounts
in said roll set against each parcel or lot of land, or part thereof, and other
property between the termini of said improvement abutting upon, adjacent or
proximate to said street, and such amounts so assessed are hereby declared to be
first lien against each parcel or lot of land or p~rt thereof, against which the
same is assessed in said ~oll.
Section 3. That for the purpose of this said improvement there is hereby
created and established a special fund to be known and called "Local Improvement
Fund, District No. 13.3..". Bonds shall be issued in serial numbers from one to

both inclusive, or so many as may be necessary to provide for the uncoll-
ected portion of said special assessment due or owing in said district on the
date hereinafter fixed, the same to be in denominations of One Hundred Dollars
($100) each, except the first, which shall be for such fractional part of One
Hundred Dollars as may be remaining due and unpaid on said date payable from
said "Local Improvement Funds, District ~o. 133"
Section 4. That the 25th day of March, 1930, be and the same is hereby fixed
for the date of the issuance and sale of the bonds to be issued on account of
said improvement.
Section ~. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty days
from and after its passage and publication as provided by law.
Passed by the City Commission, signed by the Nmyor and attested by the
City Clerk in authentication of such passage this second day of February.z~
