duct, or use of loud speakers, magnavox, or any other instrument or device used
for the purpose o~advertising or attracting attention to any such place, or to
use speakers therefor, repealing Ordinance No. 1035 and all other ordinances in
conflict herewith, providing penalties and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BREMERT0~ DO ORDAIN aS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. It shall be unlawf~l to conduct or permit dancing or any enter-
tainment of any kind or nature or any exhibitions or shows or any other method
of amusement, or to employ for the purpose of entertainment or amusement any
musicians, singers or any other entertainers, and to use the same, or to use,
maintain or operate any loud speakers, magnavox or any other instrument or de-
vice used fo~ the purpose of advertising or attracting attention to any such place,
or to use spealers therefor, or any other unusual method of advertising for the
purpose of drawing trade or patronage, or to permit any loud, boisterous or
unusual noises or conduct in any place in the City of Bremerton where beer or
light wines are sold generally to the public.
Section £. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance
shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined in any sum not exceeding One Hundred
Dollars ($100), or by imprisonment in the city jail for a term not exceeding
thirty (30) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
Section 3. Ordinance Eo. 1035 and all other ordinances and parts or ordin-
ances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 4. ~n emergency exists and this ordinance is necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public pc=ce, health and safety of the City of
Bremerton, and shall take effect ~mmediately upon its passage and publication
as provided by law.

Clerk in authentication of such passage this 19th day of SanNary, 1935.
