BE IT ENACTED BY ~qE CITY C0~,.[ISSIOI'[ 0[~ THE CITY OF BREI~ERTON:
That it is for the best interests of the City of Bremerton that a police
surgeon be had by the City of ~remerton, for taking care of any .case or cases
desired by the Police Department of the City of Bremerton, requir~.ng surgical aid;
And, whereas, the city has no such officer and no post has been created to
which an appointment might be made to act as such officer;
N0~,¥, THEREFORE, there is hereby created the office of Police Surgeon for
the City of Bremerton, State of ~,Vashington, whose duties shall be to take care
of any matters, of a surgical nature, desired by the Police Department of the
City of Bremerton, which pertains to the operating of their department in an
efficient and orderly manner to conserve the best interests thereof.
That the said Police Surgeon shall receive a compehsation of Three
Hundred (~$300.00) Dollars per year, payable as other officers of the City of
Bremerton are paid and that said salary shall be paid out of the Current Expense
Fund of the City of Bremerton.
PASSED by the City Co~.~ission, signed by the k'ayor and attested by the
City Clerk this 18th day of December, 1937.
