by changtn~ the boundaries of precinct numbers eleven (ll) and fourteen (14) and
adding two precincts to be kno~a as precincts nineteen (19) and twenty (20), repeal-
ing all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith, and declaring an
emergency.
~{E CITY C0~ISSION OF THE CITY 0E BR~ERTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 1001 be amended by changing the
boundaries of precincts eleven and fourteen and establishing two new precincts to be
known as nineteen and twenty.
Section 2. That the boundaries of precincts eleven and fourteen, established
by Section 2 of Ordinance No. 1001, be amended to read as follows:
Precinct No. ll
Beginning at the intersection of the centerlines of Sixth Street and
Veneta Avenue; thence "lest to the centerline of !!igh Avenue; thence
North to the centerline of Thirteenth Street; thence East along the
centerline of Thirteenth to its intersection with the centerline of
Chester Avenue; thence South to the centerline of Eighth Street;
thence '~est to the centerline of Veneta Avenue; thence South'to the
point of beginning.
Precinct No. 14
Beginning at a point where the centerline of Naval Avenue intersects
the U. S. Government Navy Yard; thence West along the U. S. Navy Yard
to the centerline of Olympic Avenue; thence North to the centerline
of Burwell Street; thence West to the centerline of Montgomery; thence
North to the centerline of Ninth StrSet; thence East to the centerline
of Rainier Avenue; thence South to the centerline of Eighth Street;
thence East to the centerline of Naval Avenue; thence South to the
point of beginning.
Section 3. That the boundaries of precincts nineteen and twenty are hereby
fixed and established as follows:
Precinct No. 19
Beginning at the intersection of the centerlines of Naval Avenue and
Eleventh Street; thence North along the centerline of Naval Avenue to
the Government meander line, continuing North along the centerline of
Naval Avenue to its intersection with the centerline of Port Washinston
Narrows; thence Southeasterly along the centerline of Port Washington
Narrows to its intersection with the centerline of Chester Avenue;
thence South to the Government meander line; thence continuing South
along the centerline of Chester Avenue to its intersection with the
centerline of Thirteenth Street; thence West along the centerline of
Thirteenth Street to its intersection with High Avenue; thence South
along the centerline of High Avenue to its intersection with Eleventh
Street; thence %$est alohg the centerline of Eleventh Street to the
point of beginning.
Precinct No. 20
Beginning at the intersection of ~inth Street and Callow Avenue; thence
~orth along the centerline of Callow Avenue to its intersection with
the centerline of Fifteenth Street; thence East along the centerline of
Fifteenth Street to its intersection with the centerline of Naval Avenue;
thence South along the centerline of Naval Avenue to its intersection
with the centerline of Eighth Street; thence ~est along the centerline
of Eighth Street to its intersection with the centerline of Rainier
Avenue; thence North along the centerline of Rainier Avenue to its inter-
section with the centerline of Ninth 9treet; thence West along the center-
line of Ninth Street to the point of beginning.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect im~ediately upon
its passage and publication.
