District No. 145, created and established by Ordinance No. 1095 providing for the
improvement of Elizabeth, Warren, Broadway, Tenth, Eleventh, Twelfth, 51~irteenth,
Fifteenth, and alley as in said ordinance described; providing for the levying and
assessing of the costs and expenses thereof against the parcels and lo~ts of land
between the termini' and within the boundaries of said improvement district; provid-
ing for the collection thereof; creating and establishing a special fund therefor
and fixing the date for the issuance of bonds in payment thereof.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY C0~¢.2...~ISSION OF THE CITY OF BREI~2~RTON ~ FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the assessment roll for Local Improvement District No. 1~5
providing for the improvement of Elizabeth, Warren, Broadway, Tenth, Eleventh,
Twelfth, Thirteenth, Fifteenth and alley by clearing, grubbing, grading, paving
with. one-course concrete pavement six inches thick, providing for drainage, a
relief sewer as set forth in the plhns and specifications on file in the off~ce
of the City Clerk, together with the doing of any and all other work necessary
to make a complete job, all in accordance with the plans and specifications on file
in the off~ce of the City Clerk, and as provided by and described in Ordinance No.
!095, be and the same is hereby ap±'.roved and confirmed.
Section ~. That each parcel and lot of land or part thereof, as shown in said
assessment roll is specially benefited by said improven'~ent, and that there be and
hereby is assessed against each parcel and lot of land and part thereof and other
property contained in said improvement district as shova-~ in said roll, including
the property belonging to the City of Bremerton, t!~e respective amounts in said
roll set against each parcel or lot of and/or part thereof, and other property be-
.tween the termini of said improvement abutting upon, adjacent or proximate to said
street, and such amounts, so assessed, are hereby declared to be first lien against
each parcel or lot of land or part thereof, against which the same is assessed in
sa! d roll.
Section Z. That for the purpose of this said improvement there is hereby created
and established a special fund to be known and called "Local Improvement Fund, Dis-
trict No. 1~5". Bonds shall be issued in serial numbers from One to both
inclusive, or so many as may be necessary to provide for the uncollect'ed por'tion of
said special assessment due or owing in said district on the date hereinafter fixed,
the same to be in denominations of TWo Hundred Dollars each, except the first, which
..shall be for such fractional part of Two Hundred Dollars as may be remaining due and
~Unpaid on sa~d date, payable from sa~d "Local Improvement Fund, District No. l~O".
?'~ Section ~. That the ~0th ~ay of August, 19~?, be and the same is hereby fixed
'~'for the date of the issuance and sale of the bonds to be issued on account of said
improvement.
Section 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty days from
and after its .passage and publication as provided by law.
