AN ORDINANCE of the City of Bremerton regulating the use of auto-trailers
or other facilities used for hLu~_an habitation within the City of Bremerton;
providing the condition under which they may be used and providing a penalty ~or
the violation of this ordinance.
BE IT 0~tDA!NED BY THE CITY C0~,~ISSION OF THE CITY OF BR~ERTON:
Section 1. That no auto-trailer shall be used for habitation or cooking or
occupied at all where they camp within the City of Bremerton or stop for meals and
no other place shall be used for human habitation unless they have proper sewer
connections and if the said auto-trailers are used at all for sleeping, cooking
or other habitation it shall be only by those who own a residence and use the said
trailer on the same lot or adjoining lot in connection with the said dwelling
and then it shall not be used for cooking if any of the waste water or refuse
is allowed to escape on the ground and no trailer shall occupy any vacant lot
as an independent habitation under any condition without proper sewer connections.
Section 2. Any person or persons violating any of the provisions of this
act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon convi~ion thereof shall be
fined of any sum not to exceed One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) or by imprisonment
in the city jail not to exceed thirty (30) days or by both such fine and
impri s onme nt.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty
days after the first i~ublication thereof.
Passed by the City Commission, signed by the ldayor and attested by the
City Clerk in authentication of such passage this 13th day of B[arch, 1937.
