AN ORDINANCE amending Section 7 of Ordinance No, 1021 of the City of Bremerton
regulating the parking and standing of vehicles within the City of Bremerton.
The City Commission of the City of Bremerton do ordain as follows:
Section 1. That Section 7 of Ordinance No, 1021 of the City of Bremerton
being entitled:
"AN ORDINANCE regulating the parking and standing of vehicles within the
City of Bremerton, providing penalties for violation thereof, and repealing
Ordinance No. 817 and all other ordinances and parts o~ ordinances in conflict
herewith" be, and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"That a writteu permit shall be obtained from Chief of Police, subject to
the approval of the City Conm~ission, for the parking, zoning and stands of all
jitney cars, stage cars, taxis, for hire cars, transfer cars, and all other cars
or motor vehicles operating for a consideration, and such peri. its when granted
shall be subject to change from time to time, as dee,.ed best for the regulation
of traffic within the city limits of the City of Bremerton. Application for any
such permit shall be made to the Chief of Police, by the person, firm or
corporation operating such Jitney, for hire car, transfer car or vehicle operating
for a consideration. Such written permission, when granted, shall be displayed
in such vehicle."
This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days from and after its
passage, approval, and publication, as by law provided.
PASSED by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton on the sixth day of
March, 1937, signed by the ~iayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication
of such passage.
