AN ORDINANCE approving and adopting the assessment roll for Local Improvement District
No. 173 under Ordinance No. 1200 providing for the improvement of Eleventh Street between High
Avenue and Naval Avenue, in the City of Bremerton, by clearing, grubbing, grading and paving
with a one course concrete pavement 6 inches thick and 30 feet wide, the levying and assessing
of costs thereof against the parcels and lots of land between the termini and within the boundary
of said improvem~nt and providing for the collection thereof, and fixing the date for the issuance
of bonds in payment thereof.
BE IT ORDAIkr~D BY THE CITY CO~qISSION OF THE CITY OF BRE~ERTON:
Section 1. That the assessment roll for Local Improvement District No. 173 providing for
the improvement of Eleventh Street from High Avenue to Naval Avenue and as described in :)rdinance
1200, be and the s~me is hereby approved and conI'irmed.
Section 2. That each parcel and lot of land or part thereof, as shown in said assessment
roll is specially benei'ited by said imp_rovement, and that there be and hereby is as~es~ed against
each parcel and lot of land and part thereof and other property contained in s~id improvement
district as shown in said roll, including the property belonging to the City of Bremerton, the
respective amo~uts in said roll set against each parcel or lot oI' and or part thereof, and other
property between the termini of said improvement abutting upon, adjacent or proximate to said
street, and such amounts so assessed are hereby declared to be first lien against each parcel
or lot of land or p~.rt thereof, against which the same is assessed in said roll.
Section 3. That for the purpose of this said imorovement there.~s hereby created and es-
tablished a special fund to be known and called "Local Im-orovement Fund, District No. 1~3".
Bonds shall be issued in serial numbers from One to both inclusive, or so many as may
be necessary to provide Ior ~he uncollected portion of said special assessment due or owing in
said district on the date hereinaI'ter i'ixed, the same be in denominations of Two Hundred Dollars
each, except the first which shall be l~or such fractional cart of Two Hundred Dollars as may be
remaining due and unoaid on said d~%e, payable from said "~ocal Improvement Fund, No. 173u.
Section ~. That the 17th day of October, 193g, be and the same is hereby fixed for the
date of the issuance and sale of the bonds to be issued on account of said im.~rovem~nt.
Section 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and efi'ect thirty days i'rom and a~ter
its passage and pu~llcation as provided by law.
PASSED by the City Commission, signed by the Nayor and attested by the City Clerk in
authentication of such passage this 2~th day of August, 1935.
