AN ORDINANCE of the Oity of ~remerton amending Section 29 of the
Bremerton Building Code pertaining to building permits and plan-checking
fees, and this amendment refers only to building permit fees. This
amendment to come under the same penalty as provided in the Building Code,
and no additional changes by implication or otherwise to be made in said
Code thereby.
BE iT ORDAINED BM T~ CITY C0~'IISSION OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON:
Section 1. The section which is sought to be amended being Section 29,
of "Bremerton ~uilding code," and the second paragraph thereof which reads
as follows:
"The permit fee for the construction, alteration or
repair of a building or structure shall be $1.00 for each
$500.00 of cost, or fraction thereof of the first $100,000.00
or less of estimated cost. ~'or each added $500.00 of cost,
or fraction thereof, over $199,000.00, the added fee shall
be 50 cents."
THAT THIS paragraph be amended'to read as follows:
Value of Improvement: Fee for building permit:
From $1.00 to $100.00 $1.00
Up to 500.00 3.00
Up to 1000.00 5.00
Up to 1500.00 6.50
Up to 2000.00 8.00
And for any additional construction, alteration or repair over and above
$2000.00 the permit fee shall be $3.00 per $1000.00 for each $1000.00 over
and above the $2000.00 above mentioned.
Section 2. That the same penalty shall attach for the violation of this
amendment as provided for in the said Building Code and this amendment is
hereby made a part of said code.
PASSED by the City Commission, signed by the Mayor, and attested by the
City Clerk this 6th day of June, 1938.
