AN ORDINANCE of the City of Bremerton setting up a temporary fund of Seven
Thousand Five Hundred Dollars for the improvement and extension of West Bremerton
Storm Sewer from Burwell Street, North, in order to provide an outfall and trunk
sewer for the recently annexed portion to the City of Bremerton and declari_ng an
emergency therefore.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY CO~[ISSION OF TItE CITY OF Bll~(LRTCN:
Section 1. That there is hereby established a temporary fund for the sum
of $7,5,00.00 for the improvement and extension of the West Bremerton Storm Sewer
from Burwell Street, North. This money to be used toward providing an outfall
and trunk sewer for the recently annexed portion of the City of Bremerton, toward
which this extension is made.
Section 2. That the funds above mentioned are to be transferred from the
City Street Fund to the Sewer Construction Fund, 1362 D and all costs and expense
of such improvement shall be borne by said fund, except such portion as may be
covered by a Federal or State Grant, or a Department of the United States Government
for emergency relief.
Section 3. That reimbursement of the City Street Fund for the sm'~ouat trans-
ferred shall be provided for by an at~propriate assessment on £uture Local Imp-
rovement Districts that will directly benefit by said improvement in providing a
storm sewer and sanitary outlet.
Section 4. That an emergency exists for the placing on operation of the
provisions of this ordinance; therefore this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and publication as provided by law.
