AN ORDINANCE vacating certain alleys in Block 27, Charleston (now
part of Bremerton) Kitsap County, Washington.
THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF B~EMERTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Commission of the City of Bremerton having
heretofore on the 25th day of November, 1939, adopted a resolution fixing
December 23, 1939, at l0 o'clock A.M., of said day in the Commission
Chambers at the City Hall of the City of Bremerton as the time and place of
hearing p~tition to vacate the hereinbefore described alleys, and notice of
said hearing having been duly given in the manner and form and for the time
provided by law, and no objections having been made to said petition by any
person,
NOW THEREFORE, the following described alleys, to-wit:
That certain alley running North and South through the center
(approximately) of Block ~?, Charleston, Kitsap County,
Washington, and eStending from Porter Avenue to Preble Avenue;
and also that certain alley extending East and West from
Cambrian Avenue to the center of said Block 27 and forming a
Junction with the said alley herein first described,
be and the same is hereby vacated as a public place, and the land occupied
by said alleys hereby is vested in the abutting property owner, in conformance
with the provisions of the law of the State of Washington.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty days
from and after its passage and publication, as provided by law.
PASSED by the City Commission, signed by the~Mayor and attested by the
City Clerk in authentication of such passage this 2?th day of December, 1939.
