AN 0RDIN~NCE adopting and confirming the assessment roll for .Local
Im?rovement District No. 193, created and established by Ordinance No. 1~47
provide, rig for the improvement of Callow ,~venue from Ninth Street to Fifteenth
Street; ~ContEomery Avenue from Ninth Street to Fifteenth Street; Rainier
Avenue from Eleventh Street to Fifteenth Street; Bloomington Avenue from
Eleventh Street to Thirteenth Street; Olympic ~venue from Eleventh Street to
Thirteenth Street; ~itney Avenue from Thirteenth Street to Fifteenth Street;
Twelfth Street from .Olympic Avenue to Naval f~venue; Ninth Street from l,~ontgomery
Avenue to Callow ~lvenue; Thirteenth Street from Bloomington Avenue to Olympic
Avenue; and the alley in Block l, and'the alley in Block ~ of Lars0n's Third
~qdd~tion, and Th{rteenth $treet from }~outgomery Avenue to Rainier Avenue; also
Eleventh Street from I~.~ontgomery Avenue East to alley in Block 1,' in Larson's
Third ~ddition, as in said ordinance provided; providing for thee levying and
assessing of the costs and expenses thereof against the parcels and lo6s of
land between the termini and within 'the boundaries or the said improvement
district; providing for the collection thereof; erecting and establishing a
special fund therefor, and fixing the date ~or the issuance of bonds in payment
thereof.

Section 1. That the sssessment roll for. Local Improvement District No.
195, providln~ for the improvement of Callow Avenue from Ninth Street to
Fifteenth Street; ~ontgomery Avenue from Ninth Street to Fifteenth Street;
.Rainier Avenue from Eleventh Street to Fifteenth Street; Bloomington 'Avenue
from Eleventh Street to Thirteenth Street; Olympic Avenue from Eleventh Street
to ~irteenth Street~ ~itney Avenue from Thirteenth Street to Fifteenth Street;
~elfth Street from 01}~pic Avenue to Naval Avenue; .Ninth Street from Nontgomery
Avenue to Callow Avenue; Thirteenth Street from Bloomington Avenue to Olympic
Avenue; and the alley in Block l, and alley in Block S of Larson's Third
Addition, and Thirteenth Street from ~ontgomery Avenue to Rainier Avenue; also
Eleventh Street from Montgomery Avenue East to alley in Block l, in Larson's
Third Addition, by clearing, grubbing, grading and'paving witb a one-course
concrete pavement, six inches thick, and for the widths on each of said streets'
as set forth in the plans and specifications on file in the office of the City
Clerk, providing for drainage, together~with any and all other work necessary'
to make a complete job, all in accordance with the plans and specifications on
file in the office of the Ci~y Clerk, and as provided by and described in
Ordinance No. 1~47, be and the same is hereby approved and confirmed.
Section 2. That each parcel and lot oF land or part thereof, as shw~ in'
said assessment roll is specially benefited.by said~improvement, and ~hat
there be and hereby .is assessed against each parcel and lot of land and part
thereof and Other property contained in said improvement district as sho~ in
said roll, including the property belonging to the City of Bremerton, the
respective amounts in said roll set against each parcel and lot of land or part~
thereof, and other property between the termini of sa~d improvement abutting
upon, adjacent or proximate to said street, and such amounts, so assessed, are
hereby declared to be a first lien against 'each parcel or lot of land or part
thereof, against which the s~e is assessed in said roll.
Section 3. That for the purpose of this said improvement there is hereby
created and established a special fund to be known and called "Local Improvement
Fund, District No. 193." Bonds shall be issued in serial n~bers from One to
both inclusive, or so many as may. be necessary to provide, for the uncollected
portion of said special assessment due or owing'in, said district on the date
hereinafter fixed, the s~e to be in denominations of T~ Hundred Dollars each,
except the first, ~ich shall be for such fractional part of Two Hundred Dollars
as may be remaining due and un, aid on said date, payable from said "Local
Improvement Fund, District No. 193."
~t~on~. That the 5th day of February, 19~0 be and the s~e is hereby
fixed for the date of the issuance and sale of the bonds to'be issued on account
of said improvement.
Section 5. This ordinance Shall be in full force and ~effect thirty days
from and after its passage and publication as provided by law.
