AN ORDINANCE authorizing and directing the Treasurer of the City of
Bremerton to call Bremerton Water Revenue Bonds 1929, issued by said
City July l, 1929, pursuant to Ordinance No. 901 of the City of Bremerton,
and numbered 81 to 450 both inclusive, and to notify the holders thereof
to present said bonds for payment to the City Treasurer on July l, 1939,
and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY CO~ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City of Bremerton does hereby elect to pay and
redeem on July l, 1939, all outstanding Bremerton Water Revenue Bonds
1929, issued by the City of Bremerton July l, 1929, pursuant to Ordinance
No. 901 of the City of Bremerton and numbered 81 ~o 450 both inclusive.
Section 2. That the Treasurer of the said City of Bremerton is
hereby authorized and directed to call said bonds for redemption and to
publish notice of intention so to pay said bonds in the City official news-
paper thirty days prior to July l, 1939.
Section 3. This ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation
of the public peace, health and safety of the City of Bremerton, and the
same shall take effect immediately after its passage and publication.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton,
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of
such passage, this 20th day of May, 1939.
