AN ORDINANCE creating special funds, to be known as "State Aid Fund"
and "War Liquor Tax Fund", and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BRE~ERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That there is hereby established and the City Treasurer
is directed to set up a special fund, to be known as the "State Aid Fund:',
in which all monies received from the State of Washington pursuant to
Chapter 81, Washington Laws of 1943,. shall be deposited; the moniSes fro$
sat. d fund shall be expended only pursuant to the provisions of said
Chapter 81 of the 1943 Laws of Washington.
Section 2. That there is hereby established and the City Treasurer
is directed to set up a special fund, to be known as the "War Liquor Tax
?und," in which all monies received from the State of Washington pursusmt
to Chapter 1V3, Washington Laws of 1943, shall be deposited; the monies
from said fund shall be expended only pursuant to the provisions of said
Chapter 1V3 of the 1943 Laws of Washington.
Section 3. An emergency exists affecting the public peace, health
and safety and this ordinance shall become effective immediately following
passage and publication.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed by the
Mayor, and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage,
this 28th day of July, 1943.
