f2~I 0RDINARTCE adopting and 0onfirming the assessment roll for Local Imp-
rovement District No. 204, crea%ed and established by Ordinance No. 1299,
providing for the iraprovement of ,~[ycoff .~venue from Sixth Street to Ninth
Street, as in said ordinance provided; providing for the levying and assessing
of the costs and expenses thereof against the parcels and lots of land between
termini and within the boundaries of the said improvement district; providing
For-the collection thereof; creating and establishing a special fund therefor,
and fixing the date for the issuance of bonds in payment thereof.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY C0~'.~;~ISSION OF THE CITY OFF BRE~.~RTON AS FOLL0?~S:
Section 1. That the assessment roll for Local Improvement District No.
204, providin~j for the improvement of '~'[ycoff Avenue from Sixth to Ninth Streets,
by the construction of a system of storm and sanitary sewers and at:purtenances,
as set forth in the plans and specifications on file in the office of the City
Clerk, together with any and all other work necessary to make a complete job,
all as provided by and described in Ordinance IYo. 1299, be and. the same is
hereby approved and confirmed.
Section 2. That each parcel and lot of land or part thereof, as shown in
said assessment roll, is specially benefitted by said improvement, and that
there be and hereby is assessed against each parcel and lot of land, and part
thereof, and other [property contained in said improvement district as shown in
said roll, i'ncluding the property belonging to the City of Bremerton, the
respective amounts in said roll set against each parcel and lot of land or part
thereof, and other property between the termini of said improvement abutting
upon, adjacent or proximate to said street, and such amounts ~so assessed, are
hereby declared to be a first lien against each parcel or lot of land or part
thereof, against which the ss~ae is assessed in said roll.
Section 3. That for the purpose of this said improvement there is hereby
created and established a special fund to be known and called "Local Improvement
Fund, District No. 204." Bonds ahall be issued in serial numbers from One to
both inclusive, or so many as may be necessary to provide for the uncollected '~
portion of said special assessment due or owing in said district on the date
hereinafter fixed, the same to be in denominations of One Hundred Dollars (~100.,
each, except the first, which shall be for such fractional part of One Hundred
Dollars as may b~ remaining due and unpaid on said date, payable from said "Local
Improvement Fund, ~District No. 204."
Section 4. That the first day of August, 1940, be and the same is hereby
fixed for the date of the issuance and sale of the bonds to be issued' on aCcount
of said improvement.
Section 5.. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty days
from and after its passage and publication as provided by law.
PASSED by the City Comnission, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City
