AN ORDINANCE amending Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1305 of the City of
Bremerton as amended by Section 1 of 0r~inance No. 1310 of the City of
Bremerton and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY C0~ISSION OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1305 of the City of Bremerton
as amended by Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1310 of the City of Bremerton, be and
the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 1. That the assessment roll for Local Improvement District
No. 193, providing for the improvement of Callow Avenue from Ninth
Street to Fifteenth Street; ~ontgomery Avenue from Ninth Street to
Fifteenth Street; Rainier Avenue from Eleventh Street to Fifteenth
Street; Bloomington Avenue from Eleventh Street to Thirteenth
Street; Olympic Avenue from Eleventh Street to Thirteenth Street;
Whitney Avenue from Thirteenth Street to Fifteenth Street; Twelfth
Street from Olympic Avenue to Naval Avenue; Ninth Street from
Montgomery Avenue to Callow Avenue; Thirteenth Street from Bloom-
ington Avenue to Olympic Avenue; and the alley in Block 1 and alley
in Block 2 of Larson's Third Addition; Thirteenth Street from
Montgomery Avenue to Rainier Avenue; also Eleventh Street from Mont-
gomery Avenue East to alley in Block 1 in Larson's Third Addition,
by the construction of a system of storm and sanitary sewers and
appurtenances, together with the doing of any and all other work in
connection therewith as may be necessary in order to make such imp-
rovements a complete~Job, all in accordance with the maps, plans and
specifications now on file in the office df the City Clerk of the
City of Bremerton and as provided by and described in Ordinance No.
1247, be and the said assessment roll is hereby approved and confirmed.
Section 2. That an emergency exists and this ordinance is ~ecessary for
the protection of the public health and safety of the City of Bremerton, and
shall take effect immediately upon its passage and publication.
PASSED by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton, signed by the
Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage this
7th day of February, 1940. ~
