repair, moving, removal, conversion, demolition, occupancy, equipment, use,
height, area and maintenance of buildings or structures in the City of Brem-
erton, creating the office of Building Inspector and providing for his com-
pensation; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees there-
for; declaring and establishing Fire Zones; providing penalties for the vio-
~ation~ ~ thereof, and repealing Ordinances No. 1000 and 1003, ~d all other
Ordinances and~or parts of Ordinance in conflict therewith.
~ CI~ C0~ISSION 0F THE CI~ 0F BR~ERTON D0 ORDAIN AS ~LLOWS:
Section 1. ~at a certain doc~ent, three copies of which are on file
in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Bremerton, being marked and
designated as "Building Code of the City of Bremerton, Washington, 1941, be,
and the same hereby is, adopted as the Building Code of the City of Bremerton
for regulating the erection, construction, enlargement, alteration, repair,
moving, removal, conversion, demolitiqn, occupancy, e~u~ment, use, height,
area and maintenance of buildings and/or structures in the City o~ Bre~rton,
creating the office of Building Inspector and providing for his compensation;
~oviding for the issuance of pe~i~s and collectien of fees therefor; de-
~j~laring and ~stablishing Fire Zones, providing penalties for the violation
of said Code, and each ~d all of the conditiohs, provisions, regulations,
~$enalties and terms of such "Building Code of the City of BremertOn, Washingto
1941", on file in the office of the City Clerk are hereby referred to, adopted
~*'~and made a part hereof as if fully set forth in Zh~s Ordinance.
Section 2. ~at Ordinances No. 1000 and 1003 and all other Ordinances
and/or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith ~e hereby repealed.
~, Section 3. ~e City Clerk of the City of Bremerton shall keep on file
in his office at least three copies of said Building Code of ~e City of Brem-
erton, Washington, 1941, for the use of the general public, and~shall prov~e
~for such additional copies for sale, distribution or other use ~o persons xn~
t~V~terested as shall be determined by the City C~ission.
Section 4. ~is Ordinance shall be in full force and effect thrity days
from and after its nassage and publication provided by law.

City Clerk in authentication of such passage this 22nd day of~0ctober 1941.
