AN ORDINANCE declaring an emergency to exist on account of the destruction of
a police car in the City of Bremerton, and appropriating funds to purchase a new
police car to meet such emergency,
THE CITY C0~.~ISSION OF THE'CITY OF BR~¥IERTON ~RDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1, That a public emergency exists in the City of Brmmerton, which could
not reasonably have been foreseen at the time of making the budget for the, year 1941,
in that one of the oolice cars of the City of Bremerton has been completely wrecked
and cannot be repaired. That it is necessary to immediately purchase a new police
car in order that the Police Department of the Oity of Bremerton may"maintain public
peace, health and safety, and there is hereby appropriated the sum of $2,000.00% or
so much thereof as may be necessary, for the purchase of a new automobile for the
use of the Police Department of the City of Bremerton, and the ~ayor and the City
Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute an emergency warrant in pay-
ment of the purchase price of such car, which warrant shall not exceed the sum
of $2,000.00.
APPROVED unanimously by the City Commission o~ the City of Bremerton on first
reading the 8th day of October, 1941.
PASSED unanimously by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton on final
reading, signed by the ~ayor, and attested by the City Clerk, in attestation of
such passage this 10th day of 0c%ober, 19&l.
