AN ORDINANCE granting the United States of America the right to construct,
~operate and maintain one or more electric power transmission circuits over, across,
along and upon Farragut Street in the City of Bremerton, and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY C059WISSION OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the United States of America is hereby granted the right to
construct, operate and maintain one or more electric power transmission circuits,
together with the facilities appurtenant thereto, over, across, along and upon
Farragut Street in the city of Bremerton.
Section 2. All costs and expenses incident to the construction, operation,
maintenance, alteration, relocation or removal of said electric power transmission
circuit or circuits, are to be borne by the United States of America, and all work
incident to the construction, operation and maintenance of said electric power
transmission circuits, together with the necessary equipment and facilities
appurtenant thereto, shall be performed in accordance with the lews and ordinances
of the United States of America, the State of Washington, and the City of Bremerton,
and the specified rules and regulations of the latest edition of and supplements
to the National Electrical Safety Code, promulgated by the United States Bureau of
Standards.
Section 3. An emergency exists affecting the peace, health and safety of the
inhabitants of the city of Bremerton and the United States of America, and this
ordinance is immediately necessary and shall take effect immediately following
its passage and publication.
PASSED by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton, signed by the Nayor,
attested by the city clerk in authentication thereof, this 28th day of July, 19~l.
