AN ORDINANCE repealing Ordinance No. 1383 of the City of Bremerton, and
declaring an emergency.
THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 1383 o~ the City of Bremerton, entitled:
"An Ordinance setting up and establishing a City '~narf Fund, defining the policy
of the City of Bremerton with relation thereto, and prohibiting expenditures
therefrom except for permanent wharf improvements," passed by the City Commis-
sion on April 2, 1941, be and the said ordinance is hereby repealed.
Section 2. The reason for repealing the said ordinance is on account of
the fact that the lease, by and between the City of Bremerton as Lessor and
the Bremerton Terminal Company and Sophia Bremer as Lessees, has been declared
invalid, the City has taken possession of the said wharves and it will shortly
become necessary to expend monies in the City Wharf Fund for upkeep and repair.
Section 3. This ordinance is immediately necessary for the preservation
of public peace, health and safety in the City of Bremerton, and shall take
effect immediately following passage and publication.
PASSED by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton, signed by the
Mayor, and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage, this
23rd day of July, 1941.
