AN ORDINANCE annexing certain territory to the City of Bremerton 'Oursuant to
the vote of inhabitants of said territory at a special election held on .~pril 8,
1941, and declaring an emergency.

Section 1. That the residents of real property hereinafter described, at a
special election, held on April 8, 1941, in Callow precinct, Kitsap County,
Washington, for the purpose of voting upon the question of am~exing said real
property to the City of Bremerton, have vot,:::d in favor of annexation, by a vote o'
73 votes for annexation to 30 votes against annexation, and the election board of
Kttsap County, '/¢ashington, has certified the results of such election to the City
0ommission of the 0ity of Bremerton, as by law provided.
Section 2. That the following described real property be and the same is
hereby annexed to and made a part of the City of Bremerton:
~2egim~ing at the intersection of the centerline of Ninth
Street and Callow Avenue then North along centerline of
Callow Avenue to the intersection with centerline of
Fifteenth Street then '/,;est along the centerline of Fifteenth
Street 9~4.49 feet more or less to the North West corner
of the South East :%uarter of the North East Quarter section
15 Township 24 N.R. I E then south to the centerline of
Ninth Street (being the present City Limits) then to the
point of' be¢inning, situated in L~.tsap County, ,~ashin,~ton,
Section 3. That an emergency exists in connection with the sanitary condi-
tions and the necessity for i~::edi~te fire and police protection in said area,
aff~:cting the .public peace, health and safety, and this Ordinance shall take
eff:~ct i~m~.ediately upon passage and publication.
PASSED by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton, signed by the ~,..~ayor,
and attested bM the City Clerk in authentication of such passage, this 23rd day
of April, 1941.
