AN ORDINANCE setting up and establishing a City Wharf Fund, defining
the policy of the City of Bremerton with relation thereto, and prohibiting
expenditures therefrom except for permanent wharf ~mprovementso
THE CITY CO~ISSION OF THE CITY OF BRE~ERTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That all monies now in and all assets of the City Wharf Fund,
and all monies that may hereafter be deposited in said fund, are hereby
declared to be a trust fund, and the same may be used by the City Commission
as an investment Fund for the purchase of bonds and warrants of the City of
Bremerton, but may not be expended by the City of Bremerton except for the
permanent improvement of one or more of the city wharves.
Section 2. That all monies received by the City of ~remerton from the
Bremerton Terminal Company, or Sophia Bremer, as rental for the two city wharves
and street ends adjacent thereto, shall be placed in said City Wharf Fund.
Section 3. This ordinance is immediately necessary for the preservation
of public peace, health and safety of the City of Bremerton, and shall take
effect immediately following passage and publication.
PASSED by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton, signed by the
Mayor, and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such pas. sage, this
2nd day of April, 1941.
