AN ORDINANCE vacating portion of Fourteenth Street West of Ohio Avenue,
lying between Blocks 3 and 4, also 30 foot right-of-way lying along North side
of said Block 3, Reese's First Addition to Port Orchard United States Navy Yard;
also certain property in Govt. Lot 2, Sec. 14, Twp. 9.4, N.R. 1 E.W.M., Kitsap
County, Washington.
THE CITY CO~MISSION OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the 0ity Commission of the City of Bremerton having hereto-
fore on the 4th day of March, 1942, adopted a resolution fixing the f~rst day of
April, 1942, at 10 o'clock A.~., of the said date in the Commission Chambers at
the City Hall of the City of Bremerton as the time and place of hearing the
petition to vacate the hereinafter described real property, and notice of said
hearing having been duly given in the manner and form and fo~ the time provided
by law, and no objection or objections having been made to the said petition by
any person, Now therefore, the following described property, to-wit:
That portion of Fourteenth Street West of Ohio Avenue ~d lying
between Blocks 3 and 4 of Reese's First Addition to Port Orchard
United States Navy Yard;
Also a 30 foot right-of-way lying along the North side of Block 3,
Reese's First Addition to Port Orchard United States Navy Yard;
Also the South 15 feet of the following described tract: Part of
Govt. Lot 2, Sec. 14, Twp. ~4, N. R. l, E.W.M., Beginning 718 feet
west of the southeast ~orner of Govt. Lot 2; thence North V65 feet
to sout~ line of Seventeenth Street; thence East 70 feet; thence
South 765 feet to south line of Govt. Lot ~; thence West ~0 feet
to beginning, situated in Kitsap Cowry, Washington
be and the s~e is hereby vacated as a public place, and the land occupied by
the said above described streets is hereby vested in the abutting property owner
in confo~ce with the provisions of the laws of the State of Washington.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty (30)
days from and after its passage and publication as provided by law.
PASSED by the City Co~_ission of the City oF Bremerton, signed by the ~ayor,
and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage, this ~Snd day
of April, 194B.
