AN ORDINANCE setting up and establishing a. fund, to be known as "Waterworks
Construction Fund," in connection with improvement and extensions to the
Waterworks Department, as contemplated in Federal Works Agency, Project Wash.
45-165, and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BRE~RTON ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section l" There is hereby established a special fund, to be known as
the "Waterworks Construction Fund," which the City ~reasurer is hereby ordered
and directed to set up and establish, and into which fund shall be deposited
all the funds which shall be received from the United States of America and
from the sale of water revenue bonds in connection with water works extensions,
repairs and improvements, known and designated as Federal Works Agency Project,
Wash. No. 45-185, and from which fund all expenses of every kind, nature and
description, relating to the said project, shall be paid.
Section 2. That an emergency exists affecting the public peace, health
and safety of the City of Bremerton, and this ordinance shall become effective
immediately following passage and publication as required by law.
PASSED by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton, signed by the
Mayor, and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage, this
1st day of April, 1942.
