AN ORDINANCE amending Section 4 of Ordinance No. 1395 of the City
of Bremerton, and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY CO~MISSION OF THE CITY OF BRE~RTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Section 4, of Ordinance No. 1395 of the City of
Bremerton, entitled:' "An Ordinance relating to vaccination to prevent
rabies, and relating to the licensing of all dogs kept, maintained or
allowed to run at large in the City of Bremert0n; repealing Ordinance No.
911, and Sections 4, 5, 6, V and 8, of Ordinance No. 499 of 'the City of
Bremerton, and all other ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
therewith; imposing penalties, and declaring an emergency," be and the
said Section 4 of said Ordinance No. 1395 is hereby amended to read as
follows:
Section 4. That a license fee or tax is hereby levied against
every dog kept, maintained or allowed to run at large in the
City of Bremerton, and the owner of every such dog shall pay a
license fee, as follows to the City Treasurer:
For each male dog .................. $1.00
For each sterilized female dog ............ $1.00
For each unsterilize5 female dog ........... - ~2.50
Section 2. An emergency exists affecting the public peace, health
and safety, and this ordinance shall take effect immediately following its
passage and publication.
PASSED by the City Commission of th'e City of Bremerton, signed by
the Mayor, and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage,
this 16th day of February, 1942.
